Introduction[]

Hello everyone. As you all know me by now, im ProfessorKukui4Life . This will be my first blog ever to be posted on the site, so I hope to be as accurately detailed as possible. For my first blog, I am going to be going over the feats, abilities and statistics of a franchise some of you vaguely or well remember from your childhood (right up there with Pokemon, Digimon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, etc.). The franchise some love and remember, Beyblade.

Summary[]

Before I get into the verse's powers and capabilities, and how my blog will go down, im sure there are some of you who have absolutely no idea what this show even is. With that being said, here I’ll give a brief explanation about the show incase you'd like to brush up on it (recommended show you should get into, very big part of my childhood). Beyblade is an anime, manga, and gaming series where people (generally kids - teens for the most part) battle each other using powerful spinning tops with various skills and abilities and with these spinning tops, called Beyblades, people aim to become the top bey battler of their generation, called "Bladers". The origins of these beys differ per series however. And surprisingly enough, these beys can go from absolute fodder.....to ridiculously powerful. And these toys are allowed to be kept in the hands of mere children and teenagers?? You'd think a parent would be more responsible letting their kids play with such dangerous things, even if it’s as silly as spinning tops for crying out loud lol.

Additional Information[]

For the blog itself, I will list all of the series feats through an episode by episode case basis. I will link each episode and give an explanation of what feat is done and by which bey from which Blader and if it should scale as such. Even if there is an episode that doesn’t have anything notable or out of the ordinary for the beys, the episode will still be linked so everyone can watch and observe the episodes at their own convenience (also, some of the episodes will be in parts and do not be discouraged if it starts out in japanese. All linked episodes are dubbed and incase of link failure, all of the episodes for this blog are posted on my message wall so that anyone can go there to find them just in case). Furthermore, the blog will be separated into 4 parts, each part for each season of the series. Also, I should note to everyone that this blog will only cover feats, statements, and any/all material from the following incarnations:

  • Metal Fusion

  • Metal Masters

  • Metal Fury

  • Shogun Steel

Yes, I am aware that Beyblade has more incarnations other than the ones I have listed. There is also the original series (Beyblade, Beyblade V-Force, and Beyblade G-Revolution). However, I am only knowledgeable about the Metal and Shogun Sagas as I’ve never watched the originals, so someone else will be needed to cover the feats for them. There is also the current series that’s airing on TV, Beyblade Burst, that’s supposed to take place after the Metal Saga. I myself do watch it, but unfortunately, the capabilities of the beys from the Burst Saga are nowhere near as notable as its previous incarnations, having very little feats at all. So it will not be given the same treatment, sadly. In addition, there may be feats that will require calculating to get an exact result and I for one certainly am not an expert at that lol. So if anyone would be so kind to Calc feats when noted in the blog, I would very much appreciate it. Finally, it should be also noted that each Incarnation is set in their own universe (except Shogun Steel, that is a continuation of the Metal Saga set 7 years after the events of Metal Fury) being entirely different to each respective saga. Therefore, we cannot and should not try to cross-scale characters and their beys to each other. Alright, let’s get started!

Feats and Abilities[]

As stated above, this first blog will be covering an entire season of Beyblade's Metal Saga for the characters and their beys’ feats. First up is Metal Fusion:

-S1E01 : A blader named Kenta Yumiya goes up against another blader, Benkei, from a group called the Face Hunters and for the entire battle Kenta gets smacked around casually. Of course, no feats are done yet so the scaling here’s sort of worthless (but at least we know that Kenta at this time was complete fodder compared to bladers like Benkei).

Gingka Hagane (MC of the Metal Saga) launches his beyblade, Storm Pegasus, at high speeds to save Kenta’s bey, Flame Sagitario, from getting stomped in the match and one shots Benkei’s bey (and the other Face Hunters who soon joined in). He launched Pegasus so fast that it left a trail of blue light when moving and Kenta stated he couldn’t even see Pegasus moving (may need a Calc but it’s at the very least FTE). Gingka later on faces the Face Hunters again in a 100 vs 1 Bey battle where the hunter’s beys attack Gingka from all directions, increasing their power and trajectory at the same time. Gingka in the end still swats them away easily by having Pegasus first transform into its spirit beast form (which it and other beys will do literally every time they fight), shake the area and create a tornado that defeats them all at once. He also notes it being possible through “the blader’s spirit”. The only face hunter Gingka hadn’t fought yet was the leader Kyoya Tetagami and his Rock Leone.

-S1E02 : Kyoya starts battling the other face hunters and upon launching Leone into battle it releases powerful winds strong enough to not only blow around the hunters and their beys but also shake the entire building their in effortlessly.

Once Kyoya and Gingka battle, things start off with Leone being able to easily shrug off Pegasus’s attacks (its durability’s better than its AP anyway given Leone is a defense type bey so it specializes in repelling attacks while Pegasus is an attack type.) while also blowing away Pegasus’s attacks using strong winds to create an invisible wall. It can create a much stronger version of this ability through its special move, “Lion Gale Force Wall”. But in the end, Pegasus still manages to defeat Leone by being sent flying up into the sky and then coming back down with a powerful attack. Its special move, “Pegasus Star blast Attack”. It should be noted that Pegasus was also not at 100% battle capability since Madoka didn’t finish the repairs to it, so when normal it should be even stronger.

-S1EO3 : A man named Doji appears and shows off his skills with his bey Dark Wolf by stomping the Face Hunters effortlessly and proceeds to battle Kyoya’s Leone. They battle on equal ground in the beginning, with Wolf taking advantage of its skills as a Balance Type. Leone tries to take the advantage by smashing a large rock pillar in one blow but fails to do so. Leone then uses its special move to create a powerful tornado with strong winds and even uses it offensively when Kyoya calls out another special move, “Lion 100 Fang Fury”, to use the winds to pick up and launch rocks towards Wolf at high speeds. But this does not bother Wolf in the slightest as Doji was far from using its true power yet. Wolf begins to use Leone’s wind to further increase its own attack power and then uses its special move, “Darkness Howling Blazer”, to destroy Leone’s tornado and defeat Leone easily.

At the same time, Kenta and Gingka have themselves a battle. Sagitario is able to take a bunch of hits from Pegasus and even bring out strong attacks to make it a comparable match (that and Sagitarios specialty in staying-power due to being a Stamina type), but in the end loses when Pegasus uses its special move to blow away clouds in the sky and come down with a strong assault.

-S1E04 : Benkei battles Kyoya in a flashback (PIS, Benkei at that time was even more fodder then he is at this point and his bey is just a custom WBBA one, not a real one like Leone and was getting stomped anyhow). But in the present, Doji gives Benkei a new beyblade for him to use, Dark Bull. It’s far stronger than his previous one, being able to stomp multiple face-hunters at once and bust big holes through multiple stone walls and crates casually. He then later on battles Gingka with it and manages to make Bull battle on even ground with Pegasus. Such an even ground that when both clash they produce strong winds and energy that are able to shake the entire building they are fighting in and blow around everything in it. Pegasus alone can even produce a stronger version of that instantly when it saved Kenta and Madoka from being harmed. Both continue to evenly clash, with Bull unleashing its special move “Bull Uppercut”, until Pegasus finishes the battle once again with its special move, leaving Bull left under a pile of stone.

-S1E05 : Nothing Notable

-S1E06 : A blader named Hikaru Hasama is introduced with her Storm Aquario. She faces off against the Face Hunters and defeats them effortlessly. Aquario also shows us its ability to teleport around by vanishing and reappearing when its Performance Tip changes during battle. It showcases this ability when Hikaru trains by herself later on to easily smash through a rock pillar. She also uses Aquarios abilities in a battle against Kenta (Whom took Gingka’s place to fight after he was challenged but got sick). Sagitario puts up a good fight against Aquario and even manages to counter against its teleportation, but falls short when Aquario had yet to reveal its true power. It showed off its special move, “Infinite Assault” that makes multiple afterimages of itself and a huge tsunami wave that smashes into Sagitario and stomps it, rather easily by what Hikaru said on Kenta being a huge disappointment. They then battle dozens of times after that and Kenta gets stomped every single time until he loses all of his bey points, further showing that he was currently no match for Hikaru.

-S1E07 (Pt 1 and Pt 2 ): After being brutally crushed by Hikaru, Kenta begins to train with Benkei in hopes of being able to become stronger, and luckily create his own special move using the hidden claw features on Sagitario Madoka noted out in the previous episode. Kenta also receives a metal face bolt from Madoka to give to Sagitario to help further increase its powers. With that, Kenta and Hikaru have their rematch. Sagitario and Aquario evenly clash in the beginning due to its increased strength, but Aquario soon gains the upper hand using its teleportation abilities. But before it can win, Sagitarios claws finally expand themselves and it ends in a tie. In the second battle, Aquario tries to end it using its special move, but Kenta and Sagitario awaken their new found strength to surround Sagitario in flames and create their special move, “Flame Claw”, to defeat Aquario in a single hit.

-S1E08 (Pt 1  andPt 2 ): Doji notes that through their training program, Kyoya and Leone have multiplied their power by 2.8x, meaning they’ve gotten far stronger than they were before. To continue the training, Doji leaves him to train in Wolf Canyon to gain even more power. During this training, Leone’s special move is strong enough to generate (or at least intensify) a storm in the entire canon, causing it to rain and produce lightning. At the same time, Gingka uses Pegasus to one shot a Bey 30x larger than itself. Otherwise, nothing else notable.

-S1E09 (Pt 1 and Pt 2 ): Leone casually generates wind powerful enough to shatter glass windows, send multiple people flying away in the air, rip apart the building it’s in and the area the building it’s in all at once (though nothing different than what it can already do, just more casually). Kyoya also battles against Benkei (and Kenta later on who joins in to help) and shows off more of his new power he got from training. Leone proceeds to stomp Bull until Sagitario comes in to help, but both are still overwhelmed by Leone’s new power and Leone unleashes its new special move, “Lion Wild Wind Fang Dance”, to create a much stronger tornado to shrug off both Sagitario and Bulls special moves and defeat them, tearing apart the warehouse they were fighting it as well.

Also, Hikaru and Gingka have themselves a battle. Aquario puts up an amazing fight (stated by Gingka himself) but…once again….Pegasus’s special move seals it the win in the end.

-S1E010 : Gingka and Kyoya have their rematch. Things start off shaky as Leone starts smacking Pegasus around rather easily with Pegasus being unable to properly fight back and stand against its power. Pegasus even tries using its special move but it fails badly against the power of Leone’s newest special move, which begins to directly affect the weather clouds in the sky during a storm to greatly intensify it and generate raging lightning all over. Pegasus gets stomped throughout the entire match, even more when Kyoya has Leone use an even stronger special move, “King Lion Tearing Blast”, which creates even more powerful tornados that makes the weather even worse. But Pegasus begins to make a comeback when it absorbs the power of the tornados to increase its own power. Kyoya attempts to counter by blowing Pegasus far into the sky but fails when Pegasus calls upon the power of the Pegasus Constellation (and even forms it in the sky) to unleash a new special move, “Pegasus Meteor-Shower Attack” to defeat Leone and clear away the storm Leone caused.

Also, it appears Gingka can hear the “voice” of Beyblades as Gingka heard Leone crying during the match.

-S1E011 : Surprise to everyone, Doji appears to battle Kyoya’s Leone and curbstomps it in a single attack (though Kyoya was weakened after battling Gingka so he wasn’t 100%).

Later on, Gingka explains to everyone who Doji is and why he has a grudge against him. It is due to Doji having in his possession, what Gingka calls, “The Forbidden Bey”. He says that all Beyblades possess a special hidden power which should only be used for battles but some want to abuse them for evil purposes, such as the organization Doji owns, the Dark Nebula. They are heavily interested in a bey’s power and broke the seal on an incredibly powerful bey that should have never ever been used, called Lightning L-Drago. A bey that hides a strong, evil power and would bring great trouble if it were to ever be fully awakened (already proving it to be a bey of the higher standards).

-S1E012 (Pt 1 and Pt 2 ): Doji states that Gingka’s Pegasus is potentially the greatest threat to the Forbidden Bey L-Drago when using its true power and also says that a beys power is limitless (hyperbole, likely meaning their power can continually increase). Doji then battles Gingka with his Wolf and both beys clash, making L-Drago and its blader react to them while sleeping. Wolf is able to withstand Pegasus’s special move (weakened) and release strong attacks but Pegasus still comes out on top by awakening more power, which causes L-Drago to fully awake. Along with the Blader who wields it, Ryuga.

Also, Leone shows the ability to generate its own air-current to create its own wind despite being inside Dark Nebula headquarters.

-S1E013 : Doji explains further on the lore of Beyblades to everyone. He notes that Beys have long been a part of history, and have been used to do feats such as change the course of rivers and oceans (we see an image of a normal average bey being used by someone to cut through a riptide. A calc for this here already gives us tier 7-C to 7-B as the absolute lowest end since beys in ancient times were no stronger than average everyday ones in the present), used to defeat many armies and create large empires. A person has even used a bey to “control the earth and cause natural disasters” (We are given a pic of this with a person causing a volcano to likely erupt and thunderstorms being created through a single bey). And Doji also states that L-Drago is the very strongest bey of all (obvious hyperbole but still creditable to note how strong a bey L-Drago is in the bey food chain).

Ryuga and his L-Drago then battle Gingka and Pegasus. Both beys start out strong but L-Drago quickly starts to overwhelm Pegasus with its power due to not only its strength, but its ability to use Reverse Rotation (normal beys spin right, L-Drago spins left and when they clash it results in a massive increase of attack power). L-Drago continues to smack Pegasus around badly like it’s absolutely nothing but Pegasus attempts to counter back by taking in L-Drago’s power to increase its own power (like it did against Leone) to use its special move. But it fails when L-Drago repels it effortlessly the moment of impact due to another ability it has that makes it a forbidden bey. At the moment of impact between it and the opponent, L-Drago also has the ability to use its dark energy to absorb the opponents power and make it its own, which Ryuga has been doing for the entire battle when Gingka attempted to make L-Drago’s power Pegasus’s (strongly meaning Ryuga was just toying around with Gingka the entire time) when in truth Pegasus lost some of its own power every-time it clashed with L-Drago. Pegasus then starts getting stomped badly without being able to do a thing. Afterwards through anger, Gingka and Pegasus release more power and unleash a massive assault of attacks on L-Drago, but proves to be futile when L-Drago begins to absorb the negative anger and emotions from Gingka to become even more powerful as noted by Doji and unleashes its dark move (an evil version of a special move) against Pegasus, “Dragon Emperor Soaring Bite Strike”, to give Gingka a complete crushing defeat.

-S1E014 : During a flashback into the past, we see Pegasus get launched during a special ceremony in Gingka’s hometown, Koma Village, by his father Ryo Hagane. Pegasus makes dozens of leaps up the mountain in the village and then jumps high into the sky to summon the Pegasus Constellation and makes it appear in the sky. Afterwards, he battles Ryuga with Pegasus and gets stomped. Otherwise, nothing else notable.

-S1E015 : Nothing notable.

-S1E016 : Hyoma from the previous episode reveals his bey to everyone, Rock Aries and challenges them to a battle. First he and Kenta battle. Sagitario and Aries battle evenly in the beginning, but Aries begins to gain the upper hand with its defensive power and its special move, “Horn Throw Destruction”. Sagitario and Kenta try to get back the advantage with their own special move and even manage to overpower them but Aries’s skill proves to be too much and Sagitario loses (PIS since Sagitario only lost by failing to jump onto a cliff like Aries did).

Next to battle is Benkei. Bull easily overpowers Aries, so Aries tries to wear down Bull’s stamina to weaken his power. Bull retaliates and attempts to use its special move multiple times to try and finish it but Aries’s defensive skills are too great and repel them each time. Bull comes close to finishing it on the last try but it’s once again repelled and loses due to using up almost all of its power.

-S1E017 (Pt 1 and Pt 2 ): It’s once again stated that a bey’s power is limitless by Raykuto. Other than that, nothing notable.

-S1E018 (Pt 1 and Pt 2 ): Gingka and Hyoma battle in a special stadium from Koma Village called The Green Hades. It’s a giant stadium made from a rock substance created when a meteorite strikes the earth, using its high heat to melt rock and make that glass-like substance in the stadium.

Pegasus has a hard time being able to fight Aries due to having weakened power in the Green Hades and because of that Aries effortlessly repels Pegasus’s attacks and gives it a harder time with its special move, but Pegasus manages to use its special move to turn the tables and win.

-S1E019 (Pt 1 andPt 2 ): Nothing notable.

-S1E020 (Pt 1 and Pt 2 ): Starts off with Ryuga battling against an unknown kid and his bey, causing powerful explosions in the desert they are in.

Meanwhile, everyone takes part in the Survival Battle Tournament with battles going on left and right. Pegasus in one battle casually stirs up a tornado to beat multiple bladers at once (nothing out of the ordinary however). Leone does the same and later on fights against Hikaru’s Aquario.

-S1E021 : Leone and Aquario continue to battle and they clash very evenly. Both beys even use their special moves and they both remain on equal ground (also Aquario shows us the ability to create advanced illusions when using its special move as its afterimages can transform into the giant tsunami wave mentioned earlier and Leone was able to dispel it) for a long while until both begin to wear out their strength. But they get interrupted by others before they could finish their battle (effectively meaning Aquario is at least comparable to Leone’s power). Afterwards, Kyoya has a battle with Hyoma’s Aries and they both fight evenly as well. Aries is even able to overpower Leone using its special move, forcing Leone to fight back with one of its own special moves. As the battle drags on, Leone makes multiple tornados in the forest they’re fighting in and then unleashes its Lion Gale Force Wall to obliterate a large part of the forest to strike back. Aries manages to survive and tries to counter back, but Leone’s special move proves to be too much and defeats Hyoma (however Leone gets a bit damaged without Kyoya knowing).

At the same time, the boy from before that fought Ryuga reveals himself to be Yu Tendo and his bey, Flame Libra. He then battles against Kenta’s Sagitario, Hikaru’s Aquario and Benkei’s Bull in a 4 way battle. Everyone launches strong attacks against each other, but Yu’s Libra is able to shrug off the hits with absolutely 0 damage, even when the others combine their power against it. Yu had control of the battle the entire time and was just playing around by using Libra’s special ability to create sand traps through supersonic vibrations in the air made by Libra. Yu then decides to finish it by using Libra’s special move to cause a large bright explosion viewable by everyone on the island the tournament’s taking place on.

-S1E022 : After the battle, we see a ridiculously large crater in the island effortlessly made by Libra, noticed by everyone else upon seeing Kenta, Benkei and Hikaru passed out with their beys (proving Libra at this time is far stronger than them combined). Later on, Kyoya, Gingka and Yu have their battle.

Leone unleashes powerful assaults on Libra but they have no effect as Libra continues on like nothing happened. Madoka notes that this is due to Libra’s Free Spinning Eternal-sharp Performance Tip that gives it incredible staying power and balance. This allows Libra to be completely unaffected by an opponent’s attack (NLF of course as it doesn’t do well against much stronger beys). Even Pegasus’s attacks do nothing to it. Leone tries using Lion Gale Force Wall to counter back, but Libra’s able to casually enter the Tornado and strike at Leone. Leone then tries a stronger special move to gain back the advantage, though Libra counters back with a special move of its own by releasing supersonic waves to generate the same sand trap that beat Kenta, Benkei and Hikaru. Due to Leone’s damages it got from fighting Aries, it begins to lose control of its power and it forces Kyoya to forfeit from the battle. Immediately after, Gingka and Yu continue to fight. Libra continues to use its special move, “Sonic Buster”, but Pegasus manages to fight back evenly. However, Yu reveals that Libra hasn’t used its true power yet and it does so by releasing another special move, “Inferno Blast”, to release a strong wave of energy and sonic vibrations in the air that starts draining away Pegasus’s energy to try and make it stop spinning. Gingka attempts to use Pegasus’s special move to finish it before all its power is drained, but it fails to harm Libra due to the super-sonic waves from its ability acting as a shield and defeats itself, giving Yu the win over Gingka.

-S1E023 (Pt 1 and Pt 2 ): Gingka and Ryuga briefly fight, causing the entire island to shake (though nothing compared to other feats of course). Kyoya notes that L-Drago and Ryuga have gotten even stronger that they were last time, but Ryuga also admits to Gingka and Pegasus being stronger since he couldn’t defeat them in a single hit when trying. It’s also shown that Yu’s Libra is able to fight L-Drago good enough to where Ryuga needed to use his dark move to win, giving Yu his 1st ever loss.

Later on, Gingka, Kenta and the others battle each other one last time before heading out to prepare for the upcoming tournament, Battle Bladers.

Also, Ryuga’s able to easily have L-Drago take on its spirit beast form without L-Drago even being sent out.

-S1E024 (Pt 1 and Pt 2 ): In a battle qualifier, Benkei and Bull easily beat their opponent and when using his special move, they unleash a powerful beam of energy upward, which creates a strong shockwave that’s even able to not only blow trees around, but tears off parts of mountains far from the stadium.

Kenta does a similar feat in another battle. Sagitario releases a strong beam of energy upward into the sky that then makes a shockwave that leaves scratch marks on rock structures far outside their stadium instantly (it should be noted that Sagitario was on the brink of losing its spin so normally it should be capable of far far more, especially at full power).

In another battle, Aquario shows us its ability to use limited flight in mid-air to prevent itself from getting a stadium out.

Later on, Gingka battles against a blader named Tsubasa and his beyblade, Earth Eagle. Pegasus has a hard time fighting it as Eagle’s defense is significantly powerful and its unpredictable movements leaves Pegasus struggling to keep up with it, even with greater speed. Pegasus tries to use its speed advantage as a tactic, but Eagles swift movements get the better of it and launches overwhelming strikes against it. However Gingka manages to use his senses to have Pegasus read Eagles movements and counter back. Eagle doesn’t give in and Tsubasa uses its special move, “Metal Wing Smash”, to send Pegasus flying into the sky with a powerful strike but Pegasus comes back down with a strong strike of its own and defeats Eagle in that moment (however Eagle wasn’t using its true power during the battle and Gingka figures this out after winning as Tsubasa was only testing their power, meaning they are at least no weaker than Gingka and Pegasus).

-S1E025 (Pt 1 and Pt 2 ): Nothing notable.

-S1E026 (Pt 1 and Pt 2 ): Tsubasa and Yu have a battle between one another. They clash evenly at first until Libra starts using one of its special moves to try and gain the upper hand. That is, until Eagle shows it’s unaffected by it and unleashes massive assaults to overpower Libra. Yu then tries using Inferno Blast to win the battle, but Eagle easily manages to break through the attack by admitting a shockwave of its own capable of nullifying out Libra’s shockwaves. It’s through another special move of Eagles, “Counter-stance”. It then uses another special move, “Stream Slash”, to try and strike at Libra. Libra defends by strengthening its attack against it and both beys end up defeated in a tie as a result. But its revealed Tsubasa and Eagle still weren’t using their true power, meaning they could likely be above Yu at this point and do more than given credit for.

-S1E027 (Pt 1 and Pt 2 ): Tsubasa battles against Kenta while Yu battles against Hyoma.

Aries and Libra clash evenly but the location prevents Libra from using its special move, putting it at a disadvantage and giving Aries the edge. But not for long as Libra uses its other capabilities to hang on. Aries tries using its special move against Libra, but Libras own special move corners Aries badly. Libra then uses Inferno Blast to cause an explosion in the lake they are fighting in to hold back the flow of water and beats Aries.

At the same time, Eagle gives Sagitario a hard time at fighting it and is easily controlling the battle in the beginning. Eagle then proceeds to launch fast powerful strikes at Sagitario to overpower it, leaving Sagitario forced to use its staying-power to keep up. Eagle proceeds to stomp it the entire time, making it one sided, until Sagitario attempts at using its special move to win but it fails against Eagles Metal Wing Smash and gets crushed easily.

-S1E028 (Pt 1 and Pt 2 ): Nothing notable

-S1E029 (Pt 1 and Pt 2 ): A blader named Sora and his bey Cyber Pegasus is revealed. Other than Sora and Cyber being able to fight against Kenta’s Sagitario to at least an extent, and reveal its special move which releases a powerful beam of energy into the sky, there’s nothing notable here.

-S1E030 (Pt 1 and Pt 2 ): Gingka battles against a blader named Ryutaro and his beyblade Thermal Pisces. Pisces showcases its special abilities in this ep. First, Pisces has similar wind based abilities like Leone where it can change and manipulate the air-flow around itself, allowing it to do stuff like sending a bey flying away without even touching it, make an invisible wall of air to repel attacks, and have levitation in mid-air. Pisces has even better abilities by using its special move, Distortion Drive, to not only make itself intangible to dodge Pegasus’s attacks, but it can also create itself a “special space” to reside it, effectively trapping the opponent and their bey inside a pocket dimension created by Pisces and gives Pisces control over everything inside (the narrator in the next episode even comments on Pisces having the power to distort reality so there’s that). Gingka and Pegasus have a hard time dealing with this until Pegasus musters up more power by creating a powerful vacuum of heat and energy that surrounds them and literally changes the fabric of Pisces pocket dimension into a pocket universe (and everyone else in the stadium sees this for themselves too) and proceeds to crush Pisces and win.

Ryutaro also seems to have the ability to see into the future all on his own as he can accurately give out fortunes to other bladers which have come true. He even confirms that he knew Gingka would fight him for a long time, being the reason Ryutaro showed up at the same tournament as him.

-S1E031 : Multiple battles go on at once in the next round of the qualifier tournament.

In one battle its Hikaru vs Kyoya once again and they battle on even ground for most of the battle. At the last second Aquario tries its special move again to win but due to both beys being worn out, Leone defeats it using its special move one last time. Kyoya does note that Hikaru was somewhat of a challenge to him, so Aquario is around Leone’s level once again.

Another battle is Tsubasa’s Eagle vs Benkei’s Bull. It’s much of a stomp here as Tsubasa toys around with Benkei the entire match and wins very easily and quickly.

In another battle its Kenta and Sagitario vs Twin Bladers Dan and Reiki, with their bey being Evil Gemios. A bey that combines the power of both flame and ice. For most of the fight, Sagitarios attacks hardly do anything as Gemios uses multiple special moves. One move “Blaze Wall” to make a barrier of fire to block Sagitarios special move effortlessly, “Icicle Edge” to deal a massive attack against it, and then their strongest move, “Down Burst”, to smack Sagitario around and wear it down. But in the end, Sagitario manages to get enough power to counter back and defeat Gemios.

-S1E032 (Pt 1 and Pt 2 ): A battle royal happens between Gingka, Kenta, Kyoya, Hyoma, Tsubasa and Yu

In the beginning, Pegasus, Eagle and Libra all clash evenly with each other until Kyoya intervenes with a special move. Eagle has a tough time fighting back dealing with both Leone and Pegasus but manages to keep itself in check. After that, Sagitario and Aries both combine their assaults onto Libra, which hardly does anything to it. Immediately, Libra massively starts overpowering Sagitario and begins to unleash its special move to try and finish it, but Sagitario gets saved by Leone, who stops Libra’s move casually and proceeds to attack it. Meanwhile, Eagle and Aries start battling each other and Eagle shows off its strong capabilities. Aries manages to stop them with another move, “Wind Storm Assault”, repelling Eagles attack. Aries then uses its special move to easily overpower Eagle, but Eagle takes advantage of being in the air to come down with “Metal Wing Smash” and one shots Aries. Afterwards, Sagitario and Leone team up to push back Libra, with both using special moves against it. But Libra is able to come back from that completely unharmed. It then interrupts Pegasus and Eagles battle and uses its Inferno Blast to try and win (while also shaking the entire stadium but again nothing out of the ordinary). Eagle then uses the same move it did before to defeat Libra’s special move by nullifying its shockwaves to try and defeat it while Leone and Sagitario hide inside of Leone’s tornados to stay safe. Pegasus gets caught in Libra and Eagles backlash and nearly loses but then decides to try the move he used to defeat Ryutaro’s Pisces and creates the same vacuum of heat and energy at full power to destroy Libra’s technique and defeats both Libra and Eagle at once. However, it couldn’t control the power it produced and also defeated itself. In the end, Sagitario and Leone survive and Leone defeats it with a special move, giving Leone the win.

-S1E033 : Gingka and Pegasus fight against a mysterious masked blader who calls himself Phoenix and his partner bey, Burn Fireblaze. Pegasus has difficulty against fighting it and even when it uses its special move, it does absolutely nothing to Fireblaze. Fireblaze shows off its fiery offensive power and easily manages to overpower Pegasus. Pegasus tries using its vacuum attack once more and manages to dispel Fireblaze’s wave of fire to overpower it, but Fireblaze reveals its spirit beast form to unleash its special move, “Burning Fire Strike”, to completely stomp Pegasus into the ground, crushing it easily.

-S1E034 : Gingka battles against a blader named Teru Saotome and his bey, Earth Virgo, whom he saw previously defeat Hikaru’s Aquario and its special move incredibly easily. Virgo shows us more of its strength by being able to shrug off Pegasus’s attacks without taking any damage in the slightest. Pegasus is able to comeback by releasing stronger attacks, but Virgo’s speed makes it difficult to keep up with and it also allows it to evenly clash with Pegasus’s power. Virgo then unleashes its special move, “Pirouette Tour”, to drastically increase the power of its rotation and centrifugal force to create a shield of wind, easily blocking Pegasus’s attacks. Even Pegasus’s special move doesn’t do a thing to it. That’s when Gingka is forced to use Pegasus’s vacuum technique at a much higher degree to create an all new special move, “Storm Bringer”, to destroy Virgo’s shield and attack it, defeating Virgo.

-S1E035 : Ryuga battles against both Ryutaro and Tobio. Ryutaro immediately starts off with Pisces special move to trap Ryuga and L-Drago inside its pocket dimension instantly to try and prevent them from doing anything. But it does absolutely nothing as L-Drago breaks through it Pisces ability and stomps it effortlessly. Tobio then tries to use his Grand Capricorns special move to win but L-Drago easily one shots it with its dark move, beating them both at once.

Tsubasa stomps a bunch of Dark Nebula Bladers easily, including Dan and Reiki’s Gemios.

-S1E036 : Tsubasa and Ryuga battle each other. Eagle immediately uses Metal Wing Smash to try and gain the upper hand, but it does absolutely nothing as L-Drago takes the hit and starts to drain away at Eagles power to grow stronger. Eagle gets away and then tries its Diving Crush attack, but it also fails. Eagle then tries its Counter-Stance attack, but that fails badly as well. L-Drago then uses its dark move to try and crush Eagle, but Phoenix interrupts the battle with Fireblaze to save Eagle and Tsubasa.

-S1E037 : Sora returns to battle against a gang of bladers. Other than him being strong enough to impress Gingka, who also shows up, there’s nothing important here.

-S1E038 : Tsubasa battles against Benkei, Hikaru, Hyoma and Kenta. Other than the 4 becoming much more powerful and being able to compare to Tsubasa in battle (before losing), nothing notable happens here.

-S1E039 : Phoenix’s Fireblaze curbstomps Tsubasa’s Eagle in a battle. And then goes on to battle Gingka.

Once the battle starts, Pegasus and Fireblaze unleash strong attacks against each other, but Fireblaze still proves to have greater power. Pegasus tries to use Storm Bringer, but Fireblaze prevents its use and begins to overpower Pegasus badly, barely having Pegasus hanging on. Fireblaze then uses its special move to try and win, but Pegasus manages to survive. Pegasus then shows everyone its ability to copy other bey’s abilities as it uses Leones Lion Gale Force Wall, Aries’s swift agility, and Eagles special moves to overwhelm fire blaze. It then tries using its Star Blast attack to win but fails when Fireblaze stops it in its tracks. Fireblaze then uses its own special move to try and finish it, but Pegasus counters back with Storm Bringer to dispel it and defeats Fireblaze.

Also, Pegasus’s Storm Bringer can destroy souls as it uses it to destroy Fireblaze’s spirit form.

-S1E040 : Battle Bladers tournament begins and everyone fights their opponents.

Benkei’s Bull stomps Tobio’s Capricorn quickly.

Kenta’s Sagitario stomps Tetsuya’s Gasher instantly.

Teru and Ryutaro have their match. Virgo gives Pisces a good fight, but Pisces abilities are too much for it to handle and Ryutaro wins fairly easily.

Gingka and Yu begin their fight. Pegasus and Libra clash on equal ground in the beginning and Pegasus unleashes its Star Blast attack but Libra blocks it with a shield of sonic vibrations. Pegasus then unleashes another special move right after, “Tornado Wing”, but it does nothing at all and Libra’s shockwave instantly dispels the tornado. Libra then uses a new move it learned, “Sonic Wave”, where it can shoot out converted super-sonic vibrations like that of a bullet. It then spams the move with Pegasus dodging it constantly with its speed. Pegasus then counter attacks but doesn’t do much. Libra right after unleashes a combined attack, of a sand storm and its sonic waves, to try and hit Pegasus. Eventually, Libra hits Pegasus with it but Pegasus blocked it with a vacuum barrier it created. Pegasus proceeds to attack Libra again but Libra evenly holds out. Libra then tries to finish it with its Inferno Blast, but Pegasus uses Storm Bringer to stop it and beats Libra.

-S1E041 : Battles continue from before.

Kyoya and Tsubasa stomp their opponents instantly.

Hyoma then battles against a blader named Reiji and his bey Poison Serpent. Aries at first seemingly handles Serpent no problem with strong assaults, even with Serpents defensive strength. But we later see Serpents true capabilities as Aries begins to weaken enough to wear its special move can’t do anything can be overwhelmed due to Serpents ability to harm and weaken the opponent with a special type of poison. Because of this, Aries begins to get stomped the entire match and in the end, Aries gets destroyed when Serpent uses its true strength and unleashes its dark move, “Serpent Phantom Strike”.

Later on, Hikaru battles against Ryuga. But L-Drago immediately uses its dark move and curbstomps Aquario effortlessly.

-S1E042 : Yu’s Libra battles Reiji’s Serpent. It puts up a good fight, but Serpents abilities prove to be too much for it to last. Even with all its special moves Libra stands no chance as Reiji and Serpent toy around with them. Libra manages to make one last attack to barely escape from Serpent.

-S1E043 : Benkei and Kyoya battle.

Bull is able to greatly match Leone as they evenly clash, and even overpower Leone with its special move to fight on the same level. Leone counters back with its Lion Wild Wind Fang Dance to give Bull a lot of trouble, but Bull is able to smash through Leone’s tornado with sheer force using a brand new special move, “Dark Bull Maximum Stampede”. However, Leone fights back with its King Lion Tearing Blast and defeats Bull.

Afterwards, Gingka and Ryutaro have a rematch. Pegasus and Pisces fight on equal ground until Pisces uses its Distortion Drive to trap Pegasus and Gingka inside its pocket space again. Before Pegasus can counter it like it did before, Pisces uses its reality changing abilities to unleash another special move, “Blazing Inferno”, to surround Gingka in powerful flames. It is then revealed that Pisces also has the ability to use its special move in the form of an illusion to confuse Gingka, making him believe he is being attacked with fire and then soon after ice. But Gingka still breaks through this and uses Pegasus’s Storm Bringer to change the space once again and defeat Pisces.

-S1E044 : Nothing much here. Kenta battles and loses to Reiji but we can’t count this since Sagitario borrows some of Yu’s Libras power to even fight against Serpent. Though Serpent does show the ability to petrify people and even a bey’s spirit form.

-S1E045 : Tsubasa and Ryuga battle now. Eagle is able to put up a very good fight against Ryuga, despite its tremendous power. Of course, L-Drago gives Eagle a difficult time as well and both beys fight each other head on. Soon enough, L-Drago tries using its dark move in an attempt to finish it, but Eagle manages to fully stop and defeat it using its Counter-Stance, stopping L-Drago in its tracks. Eagle then tries multiple attacks head on to push back L-Drago and decides it with Metal Wing Smash. However, it proves to be not enough as L-Drago lets out its dark move once again even stronger to finally stomp Eagle and absorbs its and Tsubasa’s power for itself (however Ryuga himself even admits Tsubasa was able to get him to use some of his real strength so Tsubasa and Eagle can scale towards them).

-S1E046 : Other than Gingka’s Pegasus fighting Reiji’s Serpent, and Doji’s Wolf stomping Hyoma’s fixed Aries, nothing notable.

-S1E047 : Phoenix battles against Doji. Both Fireblaze and Wolf fight on even ground for the most part, giving each other a very hard time. Even with their special moves, they remain even. However, Wolf shows us that it isn’t using anywhere near its full power, calling its match so far a warm up. Wolf also shows us that it has an entire dark universe within its spirit form that begins to not only suck up Fireblaze’s spirit, but also Phoenix and everything else around them. But Fireblaze and Phoenix manage to break out of their world and defeat Doji and Wolf.

Meanwhile, Pegasus goes through a hard battle with Serpent but it’s able to fight through its abilities and dark move, having Pegasus defeat Serpent in the end.

-S1E048 : Gingka’s dad (who’s revealed to be alive) explains the origins of Beyblade to everyone. All beys were born from a star (meteorite) that fell to earth many years into the past. But before that time there was another star that had fallen to earth with an evil darkness inside it. People had grown to be enchanted by that power and from that star fragment they created a bey that would be the foundation of L-Drago. The evil bey was able to absorb the negative feelings, anger and emotions of those around it and turned those feelings into dark power for itself, allowing it to become a strong military asset in war. And as time passed the bey was given from person to person to store power and change its form, to become L-Drago. In order to defeat L-Drago, Ryo claims to need the “Light of Hope”. When L-Drago’s existence became well known, there were others who tried using another star fragment to create another bey. A bey that became the basis for all beys in existence, carried the light of peoples hope, and was barely able to defeat L-Drago, sealing it away in Koma Village. As a result, only that bey was able to spread to create the beys everyone uses in the future.

-S1E049 : Kyoya and Ryuga have their match in the Battle Bladers tournament. Leone and L-Drago fight on equal ground from the beginning, but L-Drago easily manages to get the power advantage back using its dark move to easily overpower Leone, but it and Kyoya are able to withstand it after countering back with their own special moves. Later on, Kyoya manages to talk Ryuga into using only L-Drago’s own strength instead of the power it absorbed from other beys and they continue the fight. Leone and L-Drago then fight evenly for the rest match, bringing about the upper limits out of both. Madoka even notes that each of their regular clashes has the same level of power as their special moves (meaning their special moves at this point are far more powerful than they were before). Just before they can finish each other off, L-Drago possesses Ryuga and unleashes a large amount of power to become much stronger. Then uses a new dark move, “Dragon Emperor Soaring Destruction” to try and finish it. Kyoya and Leone try countering back with a new special move of their own, “King Lion Furious Blast Shot” with all of their power, but in the end L-Drago cleaves right through it and defeats Leone and also strikes through Kyoya with its spirit form.

-S1E050 and 51 : Gingka and Ryuga finally battle it out in the Battle Bladers finals.

Pegasus and L-Drago evenly fight at the start, and Pegasus immediately unleashes its Star Blast attack. But L-Drago shrugs it off like nothing, forcing Pegasus to then try Storm Bringer, which also gets overpowered easily. Pegasus gets pushed into a corner easily by L-Drago’s strength and tries to fight back but to no avail. Pegasus begins to have its power absorbed by L-Drago but it manages to turn it around and counter back with its power, overwhelming L-Drago even when it uses its dark move. To fight back, L-Drago possesses Ryuga again to become even stronger with its dark power and smacks Pegasus around fiercely and easily, especially with its newest special move. But before it can be finished, Pegasus summons the power of Kyoya, Tsubasa and Hikaru’s spirits to become even stronger, along with their beys, to push L-Drago back. L-Drago still grows stronger by turning its own anger and emotions into power for itself. But to counter that, Pegasus fights L-Drago in the vast deep part of space to unleash even more of its power, and then summons a Galaxy above it to travel into and back down at L-Drago at high speeds with far stronger levels of power, in the form of its strongest special move “Galaxy Nova”, to finally cleave through its ultimate dark move and defeat L-Drago once and for all. But due to using up too much power, Pegasus gets destroyed completely and vanishes. As Ryo says it, once it has rested and gained back its power, Pegasus will likely return (implying Pegasus’s spirit still lives on).

That does it for Metal Fusion everyone. I hope you all enjoyed reading through the power of these magnificent beys and I’ll see you next time in the continuation blog for Metal Masters my friends!
