Introduction[]

Just a rough calc requested by Matt, the Shatterer of Worlds.

The Calculation[]

Be prepared for lots of scaling.

Asgard Scaling

Hela is 49 pixels. She's played by Cate Blanchett, who is 1.74 meters tall.

The road is 339 pixels.

339 / 49 = 6.9

6.9 * 1.74 = 12 m

Scaling Asgard 2

The road is 12 pixels while the palace is 356 pixels

356 / 12 = 29.666

12 * 29.666 = 355.992 meters. Taller then most skyscrapers, which seems consistent.

Destroying Asgard2

So the palace is 38 pixels, so 38 pixels = 355.992 meters

The length of the platform is 873 pixels

873 / 38 = 22.97

355.992 * 22.97 = 8,177 meters

So that gives us a radius of 4,088.56 meters

The depth of Asgard is 38 pixels

38 / 38 = 1

355.992 * 1 = 355.992 meters

Well that was easy.

Calculating as a cone.

(pi × r2 × h)/3

r = Radius

h = Height/Depth

(pi × 4,088.56^2 × 355.992)/3 = 6,231,744,044.32 m^3

The bottom mountain thing has a diameter of 358 pixels

358 / 38 = 9.421

355.992 * 9.421 = 3,353.8 meters

3,353.8 / 2 = 1,676.9 meters

The height of the mountain thigamajig is 151 pixels

151 / 38 = 3.973

355.992 * 3.973 = 1,414.356 meters

(pi × 1,676.9^2 × 1,414.356)/3 = 4,164,872,248.6 m^3

6,231,744,044.32 + 4,164,872,248.6 = 10,396,616,292.9 m^3

10,396,616,292.9 * 1,000,000 = 1.0396616e+16 cm^3

Basic Destruction[]

Not sure how it was destroyed, so I'm going to assume either Fragmentation or Violent Fragmentation.

1.0396616e+16 * 8 = 8.3172928e+16 J

19.87 Megatons

City level

1.0396616e+16 * 69 = 7.173665e+17 J

171.45 Megatons

Mountain level

Underwhelming.

Kinetic Energy[]

Shattering asgard

Density of granite is 2,650 kg/m^3

10,396,616,292.9 * 2,650 = 2.7551033e+13 kg

The footage is very grainy, so here's some rough scaling.

The bottom mountain is 135 meters, so 1,414.356 meters.

The distance blasted is 885 pixels

885 / 135 = 68.07

1,414.356 * 68.07 = 96,275.21 meters

It took a little less then a second. I can't get a precise timeframe though, not until it's on YouTube.

96,275.21 meters / 1 second = 96,275.21 m/s

2.7551033e+13 * 0.5 * 96,275.21^2 = 1.2768411e+23 J

30.51 Teratons

Country level
