Currently, our favourite blocky superhero has a solid old Class 25 Lifting Strength. I am of the strong opinion that that is utter crap. This won't even be a copy-paste of one of the many Steve Lifting Strength calcs offsite, because they all make one big mistake too. Let me elaborate.
What is the heaviest thing that the Player can lift?[]
This is where most offsite calcs fall flat. Assuming that a solid block of gold is the heaviest thing that the Player can place in his inventory. But that is flat-ass wrong. Sure, gold is heavy, at 19,300 kilograms per cubic meter (which is the size of the gold block that the Player carries), but there is something heavier. Go on, have a guess. Don't look down, tell me if you got it right.
The answer is.... The Enchanted Golden Apple.
Yep. An apple is the heaviest thing in the Minecraft Universe. How? Look at the crafting recipe.
It uses 8 gold blocks completely. Multiplying 19,300 kg by eight, and adding 100 g for the apple, we get the Enchanted Golden Apple weighing in at a whopping 154,400.1 kgs! Already, just here, the Player is carrying a weight more than 300 times the world weightlifting champion! And we are so far from done.
How many can the Player carry?[]
How many inventory slots can the Player fill up with these heavy fellas at once? Well, with the addition of the new item, the Shulker Box, let us go to the logical extreme.
Say every slot in one's inventory was filled with Shulker Boxes. As these boxes have 27 inventory slots, and the Player's inventory has 36 slots, this means that I now have (36 x 27) 972 inventory slots with which to fill up with Enchanted Golden Apples. And as each slot can hold 64 apples, that means that I can have (972 x 64) 62,208 Enchanted Golden Apples on my person at any one time.
Now. How much does that weigh?[]
Simple math. 62,208 times 154,400.1 equals the absolutely astounding total weight that the Player can carry as... 9,604,921,420.8 kgs | Class G!
