Summary
OK K.O.! Let's Be Heroes is an American superhero comedy animated series created by Ian Jones-Quartey and based on his pilot short "Lakewood Plaza Turbo", which was released as part of Cartoon Network's 2013 Summer Shorts project. OK K.O.! Let's Be Heroes is set in the futuristic year of 201X. The series follows the titular character, K.O., and his efforts to become the world's greatest hero, while working at Gar's Bodega (run by the no-nonsense Mr. Gar), a hero supply shop in the Lakewood Plaza strip mall. Alongside him are his best friends and co-workers Radicles, an apathetic, narcissistic alien, and Enid, a levelheaded big sister-like employee, as well as other heroes who work in and frequent the area.
Power of the Verse
The Ok K.O.! Let's Be Heroes verse is rather powerful. At just Season 1, the verse starts off with characters in Town level with FTL speed with the exception of a giant transformation which grants Mountain level power. As of Season 2, most characters possess Small City level strength, but the high tiers, and most characters in Season 3, are far stronger than that with Large Planet level strength and Massively FTL+ reaction and combat speed. The main character, K.O. has Star level strength at the end of the series. The show's cast is comprised of different and varied superpowers, thus the verse has a wide variety of hax. Some characters like Enid are able to absorb souls, Carol is able to copy and throw back enemy attacks with Power Mimicry, and T.K.O. possesses a Disempowerment Dome, which completely nullifies any powers within it. With Toon Force as an in-universe power, characters are able to perform outlandish feats as they please.
Note: K.O's Planet level feat is considered an outlier, and does therefore not scale to other OK KO characters, due to it being performed by one of the weakest characters in the verse so far, and being inconsistent with the many Tier 7 level feats in the show. The planet busting feat in the intro is also overlooked as it was only for effect, and did not actually happen canonically.
