hello i am doing this to show my take on the Seiretei's size, which is according to this calculation country size.

let us begin by using the scan in the link i provided here:

in this scan we can see clearly that the seiretei's radius is between a third and a half of the big circle's radius.

the Rukongai which is outside the seiretei has 320 districts according to on panel info, 80 eastern districts, 80 western districts, 80 southern districts and 80 northen districts, those districts (according on panel information) resemble Japanese districts.

we know that Japanese districts range from 1000 square kilometers to 3000 square kilometers. from here we can calculate the low end and the high end size of the seiretei.

we know that the size of rukongai is equal to the size of the entire big circle provided in the scan minus the size of the seiretei, so:

low end:

pi*R^2 - pi*r^2=1000*320=320,000

r=R/3

pi*R^2- (pi*R^2)/9=320,000

8*(pi*R^2)/9=320,000

pi*R^2=360,000

we have concluded the size of the big circle is 360,000 square kilometers, which means the size of the seiretei is equal to the difference between the size of rukongai and the size of the full circle:

pi*R^2 - pi*r^2=320,000

360,000 - pi*r^2= 320,000

pi*r^2=40,000 Square kilometers

this is the low end

High end

we will say the seiretei's radius is half as long as the big radius in order to maximize our high end...

Pi*R^2- (pi*R^2)/4= 3000*320=960000

3*(pi*R^2)/4=960,000

pi*R^2=1,280,000

pi*R^2-pi*r^2=960,000

1,280,000- pi*r^2= 960,000

pi*r^2=320,000 square kilometers

according to this calculation the seiretei is between 40,000 to 320,000 square kilometers, country size in either way, via the sizes you can calculate the radius for the seiretei.

After discussing with some people on different forums, as well as some of the administrators here, I came to understand why this calc may be a bit controversial since the diagram and the info used in the calc bring a result that is too far apart from what was previously measured via pixel-scaling, as within Regicide's (http://www.narutoforums.com/xfa-blog-entry/bleach-gremmy-makes-a-meteor.22146/) original calculation about gremmy's meteor, the Seiretei diameter was determined to be 19355 meters.

and while originally (and I still somewhat support it) I used to define the Seiretei's size based on Yoruichi's statement, until a more prominent showing I will admit that the statement is far from being consistent with the pixelscaling method, and since all the feats from all the other shounen Series are scaled this way (if possible), Bleach shouldn't be exempt from this method of scaling regardless of author's intent.

That said, what still bothers me about the result that Regicide got in his calc was that he used Soukyoku hill's height as his measuring stick, the problem with that is that in the panel he used to find the hill's height we cannot see the ground, and thus we cannot definitely say that the height he measured for its height in the panel is indeed the full height of the hill.

I believe that I have found a better measuring stick, if you look closely at the hill (on the full scale showing of the seireitei), kubo also have drawn a small crater there, and to sum up, I believe that this crater is the crater created by Ichigo's Getsuga Tensho in his fight with Byakuya kuchiki on Soukyoku hill, the reason I believe so is because it is the only crater that was created/ been seen on panel to that side of Soukyoku hill as far as I remember, I have also checked from the beginning of the fight and until Aizen's departure and found out that no other crater have been created since then (unless I missed something).

here is the crater to the right of the red line.

ichigo is standing on some tall rock a few pages prior firing Getsuga http://mangafox.me/manga/bleach/v19/c160/12.html , and he is on the same rock right before firing getsuga as seen here http://mangafox.me/manga/bleach/v19/c160/18.html , and now we need to find the distance between ichigo and the cliff, and while there is no way to do so directly we could calculate the distance between the cliff and the forest and the distance between ichigo and the forest via the formula: retinal size of object= size of object/ distance of object, solving for distance (http://psycnet.apa.org/journals/rev/57/5/314/), using the trees height as the object, and then subtracting the latter from the former.

.using ChaosTheory123's calc

(http://www.narutoforums.com/blog.php?b=17806) that determines the Stands height to be 46.08 meters:

Stand height: 27 pixels (46.08 m)

Tallest tree: 25.49 pixels (43.5 m)

Pretty tall trees.

Now in this panel we can scale the trees compared to ichigo to get their retinal size.

Ichigo: 113.77 pixels (1.74 m)

Retinal size of the tallest tree: 41.617 pixels (0.6364 m)

Distance of object = size of object /retinal size of object

43.5/0.6364= distance

Distance =68.34 m

Now that we have the distance between ichigo an the forest, lets calculate the distance from the cliff to the forest.

Stand height: 27 pixels (46.08 meters)

Distance from the cliff to the forest : 501 pixels (855.04 meters)

Distance from the cliff to the crater : 855.04-68.34=786.7 meters

And now lets use this measurement to scale the seiretei.

Distance from the cliff to the crater: 17 pixels (786.7 meters)

Seiretei's diameter: 1463 pixels (67702.47 meters)

So this version of this calc suggests the Seiretei being 67 kilometers in diameter.

The last thing I want to note is this scan of the Stand

Its after Ichigo throws rukia at renji and renji starts running away, ichigo is on the stand.

So:

Ichigo: 2 pixels (1.74 m)

Stand: 106 pixels (92.22 m)

To find out how it affects the overall result, we will divide this newly found measurement with ChaosTheory123's measurement of the stand to find a multiplier.

Ratio: 92.22/46.08= 2.001 

So it basically doubles the final result

Normal measurement: 67702.47 meters.

Ratio applied measurement: 135472.655 meters. 

I know the scan I found is probably inconsistent with other showing, but it does fit better with Yoruichi's statement, however I won't insist on it.
