Yamato blows up the Moon[]
Feat can be found here. The Red Ranger, Yamato fires his laser to the moon extremely quickly. He also destroys a sizable portion of the moon doing it. In this blog, I will be calculating he speed and kinetic energy of doing that.
Speed of the Laser[]
So it started firing at 53323 Frames and reached ground level at 53410. 25 FPS is the framerate so:
53410 - 53323 = 87
87 / 25 = 3.48 seconds
As for the distance, it traveled to the Moon, across its diameter, then back to Earth. Earth-Moon Distance is 384,400 km. The Diameter is 3,474 km
384,400 * 2 + 3,474 = 772,274 km
772,274 km / 3.48 seconds = 221,917,816 m/s

Dimensions of the Rocks[]
I'll be calculating hem as a Hemisphere since they were dislodged in a pattern that makes it hard to tell. Seems okay in my head.
The Moon has a diameter of 199 Pixels, or 3,474 Kilometers.
The diameter of the dislodged Rocks is 89 Pixels.
199 / 89 = 2.235955056179775
3,474 / 2.235955056179775 = 1553.698492462312 Kilometers
1553.698492462312 / 2 = 776.849246231156 km
That gives me a Volume of 9.81904e+17 m^3. Density of the Moon is 3370 kg/m3
9.81904e+17 * 3370 = 3.3090165e+21 kg
Speed and Kinetic Energy[]
I'll be comparing the rocks to the speed of the laser, as they happened in the exact same scene.
The rocks were flung at the timeframe of 53360 to 53385 Frames
53380 - 53360 = 20
20/ 87 = 0.22

Gummy Ship Speed[]
Requested by Cross. Apparently he just wants me to re do this calc with the new accepted distance. Seems simple enough.
It traveled the distance to another star system in 130 Seconds (apparently).

4.24 Light Years / 130 seconds = 3.08558773 × 10^14 m/s

Ventus was able to react and move within the time that the cruiser in hyperdrive was able to move out of the shot. I'll do that now.
Sora is about 1.6m tall.
(1.6/189.24)59.9=.5m
(.5/46.6)435=4.67m
So before the cruiser can move 5 meters with hyperdrive engaged, Ven can react, crouch, and move his arm a small distance. I couldn't really be fucked to measure that, but it seems to be about the length of his forearm.
Considering Ven stands at about 1.66m tall, his forearm would measure about .26m.
So for Ven's movement speed:
(1277.5/4.67).26=71c
So:
