Okay, so after some discussion we’ve come to realize that our current calcs for One Piece are inaccurate. The issue stems from the scaling of the planet in the calcs, where they find the size of the planet based on Alabasta’s size and a map a character imagined. The issue comes from the fact that the map implies that the islands in the grand line are mostly comparable in size, however we’ve seen several instances of islands indicated on that map being far smaller, so either the map is inaccurate, or the size of Alabasta is. Because of this it was decided to recalc various feats assuming an Earth sized planet.

All original values and methodology come from Cin here:

https://vsbattles.wikia.com/wiki/User_blog:CinCameron20/One_Piece_calcs_(again)

The values that need to be changed for this calc are the speeds of the meteors, as they were the only thing affected by the planet’s size.

Fujitora’s Meteorite:

350?cb=20170315040351

“The largest meteorite, scaling to Dressrosa (43,803m) is 2,400m in diameter. its mass, using 3,300kg/m^3 due to it being a space rock, is 2.3892e+13kg.”

Using average meteor speed for Earth of 17 km/s we get 3.452394 × 10^21 joules or well into large island level+ for Fujitora.

Doffy’s Bird cage:

Once again using this since only KE has changed

KE of meteor=3.452394*10^21 joules

Ratio of meteorite touching strings = 0.24645892925

Durability of the strings = 8.50873329*10^20 joules or large island level.

Doflamingo’s speed:

So, this is still using all the distances gathered in the previous blog,

1.0841m/17000m/s = 63.7705882 microseconds

10.0014644766m/63.7705882 microseconds = 156,835.067 m / s or Mach 457.245, or Massively Hypersonic

20 km/s versions[]

So it seems that 20 km/s is a more accurate value for meteors during the day, so I’ll go ahead and use that.

(20km/s)^2 * 2.3892e+13*.5= 4.7784 × 10^21 joules, in other words Small Country Level meteors.

Now multiply that by the same 0.24645892925 to get 1.17767935*10^21 joules Bird cage, or Large Island Level.

Lastly for the speed it’s: Mach 537.935294118.

I looked at it more closely and the link For 20 km/s in Kep’s blog was about man made space debris, not meteors.

Darkanine’s 11 km/s version[]

2.3892e+13 * 0.5 * 11,000^2 = 1.445466e+21 J, so 345.4 Gigatons

Large Island level for Fujitora

345.4 * 0.24645892925 = 85.12 Gigatons

Island level+ for Doflamingo

Speed would then be Mach 295.86441176
