    Random Encounter

Master Chief from Halo 5 and Doom Slayer from latest DOOM

    Takes place in Dressrosa.

    Win By K.O.

    Both in Character.

    Speed Equalized.

    Who takes this?

    Halo 4 masterchief render
    Doomguy render

    • With speed equalized, Doomguy can win if he has the BFG and gets a full hit. Chief's shield can't take it since the gun is like 2 tiers above. But otherwise, Chief is physically stronger and has better combat skills, Doomguy is always bloodlusted so he will go for the kill first

I go with Doomguy because of the BFG

    • Chief, his bubble shield can take anything Doomguy can dish out. Plus he's more experienced, physically stronger (as mentioned above too) and his weapons have longer range.

    • Master Chief should take this for Cropfist's reasons.

    • Even with the Bubble Shield, Doomguy's known for fighting up close himself so it would be null. He can just go dash through the shield and blast Chief with the BFG

    • Doom Guy. He's too savage for Cheif, and he's just as skilled. Chief only has some gear that could make it fair. So yeah, Doom Guy with medium to high difficulty.

    • Master Chief is physically stronger, and is far more skilled and disciplined, does DG even have the BFG? If he does, Chief might as well have the Scarab Gun too.

    • Bump.

    • Even with the BFG and as Stated by Hop, both would ie if Doom Guy decide to use the BFG.

And it would be 1 HKO with Dircet Impact or Spartan Charge (Similar to Direct Impact).

    • Doomguy because:

      • Doomguy has a better arsenal/equipment imho
      • Doomguy can also "see" invisible enemies
      • DOOM Chainsaw wrecks Chief in CQC?

    • Doomguy, i'm sick of MC wankness (it clearly over 9000!!!) And from wiki doomguy clearly faster and stronger than MC and he not a idiot, he surely can come up with plan to counter MC so i give it to DOOMGUY. OH and more weapon!!!

      Speed is equalized.

    • @Hizack123 No one is wanking anybody. It isn't fair to assume that. Calling someone a wanker while your debate isn't any better is not fair.

      Speed is equalized.

Make this more easy for Doomguy.

    • Do so.

    • I would, but we need the equipment allowed for both, because Id Chief has the HAVOK or Doomguy has the BFG wouldn't make sense.

Plus the DOOM Chainsaw that was mentioned by Coronel Kurkov is horribly argumented it should be 9-A.

ofcouse! As i said Speed equalized made this MOREEEE easily someone Like doomguy to rip Master chief apart in CQC via skill, savageness and experience (fight for at least 500 years) and for chainsaw.......i think the reason that it can cut a bullet proof demon like a paper may because

      1)it a game mechanic.

2)it got upgrade by hell energy.

But let's forget about that for now because Doomguy don't need it.

Weapon: MC should be able to no sell from pistol to AR with minimum difficulty but need cover for super shotgun to Gauss cannon and no way in the hell he can tank BFG without bubble shield, may survive but badly.

    • I vote for Doomyguy for Colonel Krukov's reasons; also Berserker or Artifact may give Doomguy the upperhand in strength.

    • doomguy is stronger,  just as fast and carries heavier weapons as standard.  doomguy's chaingun fires larger rounds than the chiefs sniper rifle and at a miniguns rate of fire.

    • Hey, I do hope that I'm not posting somewhere that will raise any ire (aka posting in a zombie thread), but I'd like to weigh in on this one if I could. First off, I want to address something that really bugs me: Master Chief being more "skilled" than Doomguy. Doomguy, especially as the Doom Slayer in Doom 4, is a masterful warrior who literally spent eons fighting the hordes of hell single-handedly, within their own domain no less, He became such a scourge that he basically became Hell's boogeyman, slaying entire armies and ultimately killing the Titan, a massive demon that is implied to have the strength of all the Doom Slayer's victims combined. He was only stopped by being led into a trap and imprisoned. I'm not saying that makes him more skilled than the highly-trained, heavily augmented Master Chief necessarily (though I would argue it would), but he clearly isn't much less skilled either. I think the problem is that people like to equate skill with finesse, and those two are not the same. Chief does fight with more finesse than Doomguy, with clean, controlled movement and martial arts-based CQC, while Doomguy fights a brutal "rip and tear" kind of style, but both are very effective and both are incredibly skilled, practiced opponents.

That being said, I think Doomguy would win. With speed equalized (though they're about the same speed anyway, from what I can tell in their profiles), Doomguy is physically stronger, has a larger arsenal of arguably stronger/more destructive weapons, and if he has the Artifact, has some amazingly powerful abilities that would give him some really powerful advantages, especially if used tactically. I don't know if VS Battles Chief can carry all of his weapons at once (I'm assuming he has access to them regardless like they'd be in the arena or something) but Doomguy definitely can and can switch rapidly to them, which is another big advantage. Chief's best strategy would be a hit-and-run, death of a thousand cuts sort of deal, as Doomguy doesn't regenerate armor or health like Chief regenerates his shields. Chief also does have Cortana to help with strategy and some defensive options, like an improved bubble shield, and his weapons and power-ups are also quite potent, but Doomguy has a superior answer to most of them, the bubble shield being arguably the biggest problem (that I can think of right now). With the advantages, Doomguy has I see him taking this fight most of the time, albeit with high difficulty.

(If I have broken any rules or guidelines, spoken or unspoken, I apologize. I'm new and still reading up on everything trying to learn it all. Oh, and I was surprised not to see much about Doomguy's Hell conquest backstory in his profile -is that a conscious choice and it's not meant to be factored in battles? If so, I'm sorry for leaning on it so heavily in my post.)

    • Okay, so far it looks like. Master Chief - 4 and Doom Guy - 8

    • well, i root for DG, but at the moment in startegies i am iffy, if DG finds difficulty then BFG could be the first option, as DG likes a good scrap, in hand to hand they may match as both are highly trained soldiers, also i agree with the others, the berzerker pack cpuld give him a hand in melee. also Doomguy may fight to kill if he sees a enemy, and Chief may fight to stop, so its a posibility.

    • In order to talk about potential strategies, I think some important questions have to be answered: does Master Chief have all of his weapons on him, around him, on call (like Pelican drops), or are his selections more limited? Does he have access to vehicles? Because, as far as we know Doomguy doesn't really do vehicles. Does Doomguy have access to those sentry bots from Doom 3? Are there other living things in the area he could use to power the Soul Cube and the Artifact (I'm assuming the Artifact has at least one use off the bat since it's not a weapon), or can he just use it in the fight without having to charge it with kills?

If Chief has all of his weapons one, the fight is really close, because he has a friggin enormous arsenal. Doomguy still has a slight edge, imo, just because I don't think anything Chief has quite matches the Gauss Cannon (especially with Siege Mode), Turre-Mode Minigun, or, of course, the BFG for raw, death-dealing power. However, Chief probably does have the edge in utility. Another question: Does Doomguy have the Doom (2016) weapons and gear from the multiplayer, like the Vortex rifle or personal teleporter? Because if he doesn't, he doesn't really have a good long-range answer to Chief's sniping weapons (though Doomguy would be all about closing distance anyway) and if he does then he has some extremely deadly tools to work with. If Chief doesn't have his weapons on him, that could be a problem, because he'd have to be able to get to them, which Doomguy could make extremely difficult, even if they're called in by Pelican drop.

If Chief has vehicle support, I think it's pretty clearly a stomp for him. Same goes if Doomguy has a Soul Cube fully charged to start with; I don't think the Bubble Shield would stop it since, at least in the lore as I understand it, part of the reason it works so well is that it reads more like a living thing than a weapon, so it would more than likely just go right through the shield and puree a very surprised Chief. If there are things there for Doomguy to kill, and charge the Cube and artifact for multiple uses, well...it's going to be very hard for Chief to counter that except by killing them first, which he could do, but would open himself up to Doomguy to do it, giving Doomguy an advantage either way.

Another question: does Doomguy have any runes from Doom 4? Does he get infinite ammo until he's damaged a certain amount, or can he stun his enemies by hurting them enough? That could give him an extra bit of help too. Most of the runes wouldn't be huge, but the runes for infinite ammo, boosting his equipment (like grenades), and especially the rune for getting killed once means he doesn't actually die the first time it happens could really give him a huge advantage. I still say Doomguy regardless, unless the answer to "Does Master Chief have vehicles" is "Yes" and Doomguy doesn't have a fully charged Soul Cube, but depending on the answers to those other questions the difficulty of the fight and the number of times Doomguy wins out of 100 changes drastically, imo.

    • Doom Guy already pretty much won anyway and it's already been added. So yeah, this thread is concluded. Could someone close it?
