So just a small thing. but I think Demigra should be given more credit for his intelligence.
Currently he is listed as "gifted" when in reality he has over 75 million years of experience watching all timelines and manipulating events from his seal, received supreme kai of time training and was a candidate for it before turning evil, mastered dark magic that is said to "transcend human knowledge" and even achieved godly demon magic on his own, planned and almost succeeded in killing the entire multiverse and becoming the new god of time etc.
And in DB humans like Gero and Bulma have intergalactic space flight, advanced AI creation and the ability to bring people back to life or transfer consciousness such as with the androids, creating androids that can eventually even destroy planets, stars or even universes, and even time travel under their belts for intelligence feats. Demigra should at least be beyond their level of intellect as he is stated to transcend any human knowledge, and has vastly more experience than any of them, and they are already considered extraordinary geniuses.
I'd recommend making Demigra either listed as an extrodinary genius or Supergenius for these reasons, he is certainly well above any human in the series.
We do have intelligence rankings, and Extraordinary Genius is being beyond what's possible in the real world. Making a robot with perpetual energy falls into that, and not even that far by fictional standards.
Promestein wrote: I, uh. Don't think so. Supergenius implies you could make something like that from limited supplies. Making a robot with perpetual energy generation is honestly pretty baseline Extraordinary Genius
Creating perpetual energy by your lonesome is baseline? wot?
I'd understand if Gero had like a team or something, but it wasn't.
"We do have intelligence rankings, and Extraordinary Genius is being beyond what's possible in the real world. Making a robot with perpetual energy falls into that, and not even that far by fictional standards."
Actually no. By the definitions we have right now, creating Perpetual Energy generators is Supergenius since it's literally not possible in real life; I.E. breaking physics.
"Supergenius: The highest level of non-omniscient intellect, possessed by those individuals with unfathomably superhuman intelligence and usually extensive mastery of most, or all, branches of science. Characters of such a scale tend to be super scientists capable of creating impossibly advanced physics-defying and reality-warping fantasy technology even with just household items, and outsmarting even other extremely intelligent individuals. Supergeniuses can often easily process calculations beyond modern humanity's combined capabilities on their own, and quickly come up with extremely complex plans."
The only real argument that can be made is "with even household items" bit which is really unfair to characters like Bulma who isn't captured and held hostage like Tony Stark. She will never get the chance to get captured and show any feats of the like because her friends are all Universe Busters at this point.
I think that they should be extrodinary genius minimum for sure.
I can see calling Demigra supergenius though, since he is superior to any human in intelect learning thngs they cannot even comprehend, who in DB some are capable of not just understanding but inventing all by themselves things like perpetual energy, time travel, advanced AI, creating and ressurecting life, transfering conciousness, multiverse level androids like 17 etc.
Also worth noting Demigra literally has over 75 million years of experience as a supreme kai of time (he was almost made one but Chronoa was first), a demon utilizing demon magic that is beyond the comprehension of any human including Bulma, Gero etc, and even a Demon God which he figured out and achieved by himself. He also outsmarted kai of time, Beerus Whis and the entire time patrol and almost suceeded in destroying the multiverse more than once.
I'd say that his knoledge and understanding are well beyond the scope of any science we have, and even any plausable theoretical science we have on the drawing board, it at least trancends other extrodinary geniuses like Bulma and Gero, so i personally could see a reasonable argument for extrodinary genius Bulma/Gero and Supergenius Demigra as he is literally able to invent and understand things beyond the comprehension of other extrodinary geniuses.
Well, if all the intelligence feats present in Dragon Ball, regardless of their impossibility IRL, just fall under Extraordinary Genius going by the tiering system, then Extraordinary Genius it should be.
If there are any disagreements with these feats falling under EG, and should instead fall under Supergenius, then I suggest a thread being made to discuss that or something.
