But they're not. They're a bunch of weak-willed, weak-minded pansies. At least according to these people who have read every chapter of the manga at least twice and all of these people who spent several days revising their pages and this dude who attempted half a dozen calcs for them. All of these are the people who are knowledgeable about this series and therefore they have every right and qualification to tell me what these characters are like and are capable of.
I haven't seen much of this show really but I got the impression the show was just some cute slice of life but then I hear about fights making islands disappear and jumping higher than earth lol
Yeah that sucks. I'm really sorry about that. A lot of people sleep on my fav verse too. Especially on other sites. People just straight up forget some of Ryuko's best feats like flying to space in seconds, sinking an island or creating a continent sized crater in the Life Fibers. Her regen gets underestimated all the time. People claim shit like she's weak to high violin music when she literally has the ability to redirect immense sounds.
Someone even claimed that The Medic from TF2 stomps her Kisaragi form.
It's still pretty much cutesy shit and SoL first and foremost, especially the anime. Although in the manga, especially in the recent chapters, they've gotten into legitimate lore. In the most recent volume they built up that there's a straight up war coming, which is why I'm highly anticipating it as hopefully they get more feats or at least new abilities.
Unfortunately Coolkyoushinja is slow as fuck at releasing new volumes.
Ryuko solos the verse though. That does sound pretty neat. I can relate to that feeling top. Like in the OPM webcomic there seems to be a hero civil war coming but it hasn't been updated in like 2 years.
It's not even that people were downplaying Tohru, she had just one way to win which she's only used once (which clearly means she wouldn't use it in a fight), making it one-sided as hell.
I typed up several drafts of a post ready to tell everyone involved in the thread to go fuck themselves. Honestly I'd probably do well to stay away from VS Threads myself but that's never gonna happen realistically.
I'm never going to make a FF account; I do have a Discord but I'm hesitant to give that out.
That really sucks. Like I said though as toxic and annoying as the VS threads are they're not worth any emotional distress. I definitely recommend laying off on them, at least temporarily.
If you'd rather not give it out that's totally fine but I'm not going to tell anyone else your account. And I'm not even on Discord that often so you won't have to worry about my messaging you too much. You do you but I do hope there is some sort of way to keep in touch if you leave.
Anyways I appreciate your input. You're more than free to post it on the RVT without any fear of reprecussions, though if you'd still prefer not to I totally understand. Also Ant and I (especially Ant) work very hard to try and fix problems. It's not always as easy as it seems. Not even close. We do know there are issues and try to help out. I'm always open to more feedback though.
Oh. I'm sorry I'm no techy person at all. I wouldn't know how to change a ban like that. I didn't even know you could exclusively ban someone from making wiki threads. Prom might be able to help. Want me to ask her?
The first thing I did when I joined this site was make Old Spice profiles, then I got banned for it, then I got myself unbanned a day later because Old Spice profiles weren't against the rules, then it got made into a rule, then I made Joke Battles to host the Old Spice profiles.
