Marvel's Lizard

After losing his right arm and years of researching the capabilities of reptile regeneration, former surgeon Curtis Connors finally created an experimental serum from reptile DNA. After successfully testing it on a rabbit Curtis used the serum on himself and it regrew his arm, but with the unintended side-effect of turning him into a reptilian monster who battled Spider-Man while he was on a trip to Florida as per a challenge by the Daily Bugle to investigate reports of a "Lizard". Spider-Man used Curt's notes after discovering his identity to create an antidote that restored him to his human form, but after a second serum turned him into the Lizard once again he becomes an enemy of Spider-Man, constantly struggling to stay in his human form and prevent his reptilian rampages.
