|“||You and I were both killed thanks to a scheme of Odin’s. Odin didn’t want the military might of the heavenly world to be split by my monopolization of Brynhildr, so he tricked Brynhildr into hating me and indirectly stabbing me in the back. But I have no intention of having a pity party. Unfortunately for you, I don’t regret the past that much.||„|
|~ Siegfried to Ymir|
Siegfried was one of the most famous human heroes. He's the hero who used a single sword to slice the evil dragon Fafnir in two, bathed on his blood and ate his heart. He was married to the Valkyrie Brynhildr, but due to Odin's machinations, who feared that Siegfried would monopolize Brynhildr and diminish Asgard's military forces, their happy marriage was destroyed and Brynhildr caused Siegfried's death. Because of his power and fame, Siegfried was turned into an Einherjar, and Odin allowed Brynhildr to remove him from the army, assigning him to her exclusive use.
Due to the distortion caused in the world while Ymir tried to resurrect, Siegfried also became alive once more. He used his sword Nothung to destroy Ymir's core, and gave Jack some words of wisdom and asked him to take care of Brynhildr before once again becoming a mindless Einherjar.
Powers and Stats
Tier: At least High 8-C
Classification: Human, Hero
Lifting Strength: Superhuman
Striking Strength: Large Building Class (Should be far superior to a Niflheim Soldier)
Stamina: Likely high
Range: Extended melee range with sword
Standard Equipment: Nothung
Weaknesses: There's a point in his back that doesn't share the same invulnerability as the rest of his body
- Nothung: Siegried's magic sword. Nothung is a great sword measuring over 150 centimeters. Nothung has been reforged after being broken, but it had originally belonged to Odin. It had been made in order to find the greatest soul in Midgard (and then kill that human to add them to the Einherjar war dead). Its owner will be the most famous human in Midgard. The sword holds the power to slice an evil dragon in two. Nothung is the "sword of the challenger", and it is made to demonstrate overwhelming sharpness only when turned toward the ruler of the current location.
- Invulnerable Skin: Due to bathing in Fafnir's blood, Siegfried gained invulnerable skin, which is now dyed red with the dragon's blood. However, one spot in his back remained untouched, which allowed Byrnhildr to kill him by stabbing him with a spear through his back.
