Shu is one of the Nanto Rokusei Ken, the successor of Nanto Hakuro Ken. He is the Star of Benevolence, destined to serve and protect the next generation. Formerly the second-in-command to Souther and his best friend, when he was younger, he was the last opponent a young Kenshiro faced in a Nanto tournament. Though he easily dispatched Kenshiro, he refused to kill him when ordered by Souther, instead giving up his eyesight for the sake of the potential he saw in Kenshiro. After the nuclear war, when Souther went about conquering and kidnapping children to build the Holy Cross Mausoleum, Shu turned against his old friend to fight for the future of the children he protected.

Powers and Abilities: Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Master of Nanto Seiken, which allows him to slash and stab at his opponents, slicing them apart with air pressure, Chi Manipulation, Regeneration Negation via Nanto Seiken (Up to Low-Mid), Enhanced Senses (Despite being blind, he "sees with his heart", allowing him to navigate normally, and he can identify poisons by smell)
Speed: At least Massively Hypersonic (Was able to keep up with Base Kenshiro)
Lifting Strength: At least Class 100+ (Held up a stone cap piece over his shoulders)
Striking Strength: Large Island Class+ (Should be comparable to Kenshiro)
Stamina: Quite high. After Souther severed the tendons in his legs, he was still able to walk all the way up the Holy Cross Mausoleum carrying the capstone.

- Nanto Seiken: The opposite martial art to Hokuto Shinken. While Hokuto Shinken revolves around destroying an opponent from the inside, Nanto Seiken revolves around destroying them from the outside, slashing and stabbing to create waves of air pressure that slice opponents apart. Shu practices Nanto Hakuro Ken, which focuses on strong, fast kicking techniques and open palm strikes.
- Nanto Rekkyaku Zanjin: A spinning kick that decapitates those around the user.
- Yūgen Shō: An illusory series of powerful palm strikes used to disorient the enemy.
