Summary

The Seeker is a squid like robotic flying unit that is capable of using invisibility to seek out and strangle victims that isolate themselves. They usually appear in pods of two.

Speed: Normal Human travel speed with Hypersonic reactions

Lifting Strength: Superhuman (Can pick up the heaviest of XCOM soldiers)

Striking Strength: Building Class (Can bound and trap even the strongest XCOM soldiers)

Stamina: Superhuman

Range: Several dozen metres with Plasma Pistol, Melee range with tentacles

Intelligence: Above Average (see Battle Tactics)

Weaknesses: Susceptible to Heat Ammo. Attacking brings the unit out of invisibility.

Feats: Immune to fire, poison and several psionic abilities. Can’t be stunned using electrical attacks.

Notable Attacks/Techniques:

  • Battle Tactics: Upon any threats seeing the Seekers, the seekers will immediately drop into invisibility and asses the current situation. They will usually flee away from the enemy and wait to the enemy engages in a firefight. The seekers usually use this an opportunity to attack and strangle their foes. Also they like to strangle isolated units that have little to no nearby that can save them.
  • Strangle: Strangles the target permanently unless the unit is killed off, or the unit succeeds in killing the victim.
  • Invisibility: Drops into an invisible state, usually upon discovery.
