Santana is a minor antagonist in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Part II: Battle Tendency and a Pillar Man. Left behind by Kars, Santana entered hibernation within a lost temple in Mexico until he was discovered by Robert Edward O. Speedwagon in 1938. But Rudol von Stroheim and his Nazi subordinates retrieved Santana and revived him to study to know how to deal with Kars's group should they awaken. But Santana quickly adapted and killed most of the scientists, and seemingly Stroheim, before he was defeated by Joseph Joestar.

Weaknesses: Will turn into stone if exposed to too much sunlight; Hamon ignores his regeneration.
- Body Manipulation: Santana is capable of manipulating his body to the point of stretching and fitting through tight spaces like grates and vents, similar to rubber. Therefore, attacks are "absorbed" when they come into contact with Santana's body.
- Absorption: Santana's body is composed of cells that release a digestive enzyme which instantly melts flesh, giving one the impression that the victim is being absorbed into Santana's body. But this effect is ineffective against Hamon users, as the cells perceive the risk, unless Santana can disable them.
- Rib Manipulation: Santana's ribs are as long as 132 centimeters, which can rapidly spin in any direction, making them like blades. They can easily cut through flesh.
- Meat Invade: Santan releases pieces of his flesh, which turn into leeches and sucks up the victim's blood until there is nothing left.
