|~ Robin demonstrating his habit of mincing words|
Dick Grayson, better known as Robin, is Batman's protege and one of the founding members of "The Team", a covert ops group of younger heroes who perform missions where the Justice League cannot be present. Although he is the (biologically) youngest member of The Team, he is its most experienced member, holding his own against superpowered foes with his skill, wit, and a handful of gadgets.
He later takes up the identity of Nightwing, serving as The Team's primary coordinator after Aqualad supposedly defects to The Light.

However, for all his brilliance, he is known to be cheeky and impulsive at times as well as desperate to prove himself as a leader. These traits become far less pronounced by the time he takes up the name Nightwing, but he also overlooked the potential flaws in his plan to have Aqualad serve as a mole in The Light's inner circle, which led to numerous misunderstandings and dangerous incidents.
