Ningyo (にんぎょ Ningyo), also known by the codename Mad Cooker (マッドクッカー Maddokukkā), was a 1st Generation Capitalist Corporations Object. The Ningyo is an Object made by the Island Nation. Due to the Island Nation's mentality of improving old weapons instead of creating new ones, its insides have been completely swapped out so it can keep up with modern models despite being officially classified as a first generation Object.
Powers and Stats
Tier: 7-B with main cannon, 8-B with secondary weapons
Name: Ningyo, Mad Cooker
Origin: Heavy Object
Classification: Long-range Naval Invasion Weapon, 1st Generation Object specialized in naval battles
Powers and Abilities: Flight (Hovers above water using an electrostatic propulsion device and naval floats), salt railgun as main weapon, several dozens of low-stability plasma cannons, laser beams, etc as secondary weapons, Advanced Sensors, resistance to heat, radiation, hacking and EMPs
Speed: Subsonic top speed (580 km/h), likely Hypersonic+ reactions (Comparable to other Objects)
Durability: City level (Comparable to other Objects)
Stamina: Unknown, once fuel is put in the JPlevelMHD reactor it doesn't have to be swapped for 5 years, so the practical limit is on things like ammunition and the like
Range: Over 20 km with secondary weapons, higher with main weapon
Weaknesses: Ningyo is an exclusively naval Object, after 10 kilometers the main cannon can no longer achieve city level attack potency
- Salt Railgun: The Ningyo is armed with with a salt railgun, a weapon that was mainstream before low-temperature superconductors were successfully used in weapons. It uses a liquid known as molten salt. When salt is heated to 1200 degrees and liquefied, it has ten times the conductivity of normal saltwater. That molten salt can be used to construct a cheap and primitive railgun. The current version gives the shells conductivity by creating them from a base of over 90% salt. The core of the shell is a long, narrow spike of tungsten called the Ushi-no-Koku. The shell is made so the mass of salt shatters when it’s fired. That sends all the kinetic energy into the tungsten so it can pierce the enemy’s onion armor. As long as the technology to filter out and condense the iron and rare metals dissolved in the ocean is available, it is conceivable that the Object can fight indefinitely with no need to resupply.
