Attack Potency: At least Wall level (Is superior to Denshichiro Yoshioka who could throw a bokken stick right into concrete and could split a boulder in half. Musashi was also able to cut through a katana)

Speed: At least Subsonic combat speed and reactions (Able to fight against the four senior disciples of the Yagyu simultaneously. Murata is able to swing his sword fast enough that Jotaro was unable to see it and each disciple is equal in skill to Murata)

Lifting Strength: Athletic Human (Was able to pick up a child and throw him with enough strength to knock down a grown man)

Striking Strength: At least Wall Class (Should be comparable to Denshichiro Yoshioka)

Durability: At least Wall level (was able to survive an onslaught of attacks by Inshun who was superior to the other students of In'ei)

Stamina: Extremely high, was able to fight seventy skilled swordsmen and was able to still stand after the ordeal.

Range: Extended melee range with regular weapons, 5 to 10 meters as he can throw his wakizashi blade like a shuriken.

Standard Equipment: Katana and his Wakizashi, sometimes uses his Bokken.

Intelligence: Is an incredibly skilled fighter. He was able to gauge Denschiro's skill based on the particular way they cut a flower, was able to fight against the four senior disciples of the Yagyu (even being able to instill fear into Shoda, the strongest disciple) and was able to fight seventy trained swordsmen simultaneously. Killing most with a single stroke of his sword.

Notable Attacks/Techniques:

  • Swordsmanship: Niten Ichi-ryū (二天一流 literally meaning Two Heavens as One Style) - Using what he learned from Jutte as a child from his father Munisai, Musashi wields a katana on his offensive hand; wields a wakizashi on the defensive. He formed this style whilst battling against the senior disciples of the Yagyu; then later on, further developed his technique in his fight against Shishido Baiken.
