Summary
Many butterflies[1] coming from an underworld called Sukhavati are evil beings with a purpose to judge those who die. Some individuals along them are portrayed absorbing fellow villains during notable battles to become Morpho Knight, otherwise they travel dimensions as butterflies and may act as neutral characters until getting the opportunity to challenge the forces of good.

As Morpho Knight EX, can fly into Kirby's universe from Another Dimension), Likely Immersion (One came to Fecto Dreams [See Fecto Forgo's feats in their profile for more information about the place]/drifted towards Forgo Dreams as if summoned. While there was a portal for characters to enter at will, other butterfly was previously implied to travel across dimensions to maybe arrive at a land of dreams, and holds "Dream Eater" in one of its titles), Transmutation, Absorption & Fusionism (Can turn targets into energy on contact and absorb them to fuse with them), Soul Manipulation (One butterfly did the latter to Soul Forgo. Although the soul was basically trapped within Morpho Knight's body rather than destroyed, allowing them to escape when said body was destroyed. This happened regardless of Soul Forgo being able to leave or teleport out of a body they inhabit), Transformation (Absorbing those he turns into energy turns him into a Kirby-looking knight. Has been portrayed as getting amplified daily by the power received this way until finally making it completely his own, when he kept assimilated what he absorbed)

As before, Regeneration (Mid-High over time. Got defeated & reduced to smoke, and an unknown amount of time later he[2] then came back as Morpho Knight EX in the same alter where he first turned into Morpho Knight, being the same character having gotten stronger off-screen. Note that, even if this were a natural power for Morpho Knight, the butterfly who absorbed Soul Forgo wouldn't be able to draw power upon anything due to Soul Forgo having escaped in his defeat, and this ability might have been inherited from Galacta Knight's regeneration anyway), Morality Manipulation (Paradise Scale Wave causes those hit by it to switch to his side), Transformation (Eventually gained the ability to turn into Morpho Knight EX, which he did off-screen). As Morpho Knight EX he has the same powers, if more complex, some being bigger and more powerful, Temperature Manipulation (Can create heated vortices that will attract opponents, making them easier to reach with his attacks)
General Morpho Knight powers, plus likely Minor Healing via Life Absorption (Kirby's "Morpho Knight Sword" Copy Ability, which is modeled on his figure, allows him to heal himself a bit when landing hits on foes. Given how absorption is a known power for the butterfly and Fecto Forgo, this presumably comes from stealing some of their health rather than solely self-healing. All other Evolved Copy Abilities based on characters use powers the characters have instead of creating new ones. Note that Soul Forgo turned into a goo-like state and grew tentacles again, something they used before to consume beings, so this Absorption was presumably gained by absorbing Soul Forgo), Perception Manipulation (Paradise Scale Wave distorts and makes somewhat fuzzy the perception of targets), Homing Attack (Paradise Underworld Beasts home into targets), Resistance to Ice Manipulation (Can be partially frozen by Ice Kirby and keep on acting, and be completely frozen and break free briefly afterwards)

That butterfly seemed to have some awareness of how Galacta Knight is ceaselessly engaged in eternal battle across many points in time and in different realities. They have some unknown role to judge those who perish, presumably across many realities and over many species, which while impressive, their evil nature may mean the judgement is a cruel, simple routine expendable of vast knowledge and reasoning skills | Unknown, skilled fighter. Fights similarly to Meta Knight and Galacta Knight, and gives a good battle to up to 4 Star Allies, including a Kirby with any Copy Ability, Meta Knight and Dark Meta Knight, the latter two having hundreds of years of experience decently dedicated to battling

- Tornado (竜巻): Thrusts his sword into the ground, creating either 1 or more fiery tornados in various locations to move around the battlefield and damage foes, and Morpho Knight can control their movements. Kirby's version of this technique when he uses the Morpho Knight Sword Copy Ability allows him to solve puzzles that need winds to circle around things.
- Paradise Underworld Beast (極楽冥獣): Creates creatures that may or may not be alive to attack foes. They can be many small ones in a line or big ones moving up and down as they advance. In Forgotten Land when he absorbed Soul Forgo, the creatures looked like them (Soul Forgo), Morpho Knight could use up to 2 and they aimed to home into foes. Kirby's version of this move when he uses Morpho Knight Sword allows him to summon any amount of this beings, which will go around Kirby until a foe is nearby, then home into them on their own.
- Paradise Hades Flash Cut (極楽冥王斬閃): A move he often uses when he takes enough damage. Makes bigger the size of his swords and slashes with each of them, then with both as once. As Morpho Knight EX, he creates vortices of wind to drag in foes to the direction of his final attack. In Forgotten Land, the final attack leaves 2 line of fire that will then approach together, then rise upwards when they reach each other.
- Paradise Scale Wave (極楽鱗波): Morpho Knight releases omnidirectional soundwaves around himself, he does this more often when taken enough damage, and can use it many times in a row while mixing it with his teleportation.
- In Star Allies (Galacta Knight-absorbed), this causes his opponents to join his side when reached by it, helping him by attacking their former allies. This seems to be Morality Manipulation rather than Mind Control, if the effects end with Morpho Knight being defeated.
- In Forgotten Land (Soul Forgo-absorbed), it messes and twists the perception of the targets, making harder for them to attack or dodge future attacks from Morpho Knight, but the effects are gone on their own in around a minute.
- Is unknown if either both Morpho Knights are using different effects of a same move & that both can use any effect at will, or if each Morpho Knight only has the effects they showed, but the latter seems more likely given the different mind-based powers of the targets they absorbed (Soul Forgo's psychic powers and Galacta Knight's ability to use Heart Spears, which have turned into Friend Hearts, which Star Allies use to change the morality of enemies).
A common powerful technique for sword users in Kirby. He charges power for a bit, moves forwards trying to hit a target. If it lands, it throws them upwards to then hit them consecutively at fast speeds from many directions while either teleporting around instantly or moving around faster than normal. Morpho Knight then finishes them with a final blow downwards, optionally aiming to throw the target into another enemy to harm them both.
Explanations
Both of Morpho Knight's pause screen descriptions in Kirby Star Allies have been severely mistranslated, fans have given their own more accurate translations to them, if with a few minor differences from each other.
