Same, man. Those tiers are far too neglected around here. Especially since the characters in those rarely ever wind up with the kind of "who fires first?" inconclusive results that we get with higher-tiered characters.
Lower-tiered matches tend to require more thought for that reason, which is a big factor in regards to why I like them.
9-B, 9-A, 8-C, High 8-C matches are my favourite. These characters tend to rely on skill and various weaponry, which is fun to analyse. And they usually don't have some broken hax which could result in all sorts of headaches.
Yeah. As much as I do like certain characters who have ridiculous powers (See: Calypso, Randall Flagg, Doctor Doom), it's usually a whole lot more fun to debate characters who rely on cunning, strategy and equipment. There's plenty more depth to debates involving those characters, ironically.
I doubt it'll happen, but I'm hoping lower-tiered debates start to catch on one of these days.
im sorry since this isn't the first time im doing this, but I was rereading bleach and I still don't think that aizen's statement about stronger than all the espada should be taken that seriously. I don't doubt that his kyouka suigetsu is strong af, strong enough to catch people like yhwach off guard and whatnot, but im talking about ap only, and in his base. before I start, I think its better to ask if u wanna listen to what I have to say. just say yes if ur interested at all. thanks.
none of those prove physical prowess ABOVE the espada though. knocking the breath out is totally unrelated, I think. more reatsu control and exposure does not equate to ap. about half or more of the espada followed aizen so that they could close enough to kill him. the ones didn't didn't were hallibel, the weakest espada (the one that is fused 3000 hollows), and the guy that control things with his eyes. the rest just wanted power from him, or his death. and then there was stark, who wanted shelter and people who didn't die when got within meters of him. zaraki, aka the man with no reatsu control at all? yes I do. I also remember ichigo, who was weaker than him, almost cut him is half even though kenpachi's reatsu lvl and control were both higher than ichigo's. and making a cut on ur comrades back when they thought that u were gonna help is impressive since when? like, I get what u mean, but she was the epidemy (don't know how to spell it lol) of off guard at that moment. and stabbing through someone who has no previous durability feats inst that impressive, considering that yet again, wanderwiss hurt him as well, and I doubt that he was as strong as stark or the time stop guy espada. and yes, he has lot of reatsu. im not denying that at all, but he was hurt, overpowered, and even outsmarted by a few weaker characters. and no. shunsui said that stark> him in pretty much all aspects. I don't think he said reatsu, but I think he meant that as well. look, do u still wanna listen to what I have to say? I don't wanna waste mine nor ur time. if what I have to say could change ur opinion, then hear me out. if not, ill just leave.
despite the fanbase of star wars seemingly being at each other's throats, the whole EA scandal and the uncertainty of the future films... whenever i hear this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KeTgginH0lI (skip to 1:25) i cant help myself but smile
Alex from Star Wars explained once talked about the negativity of the fanbase in one of his weekly Q&A videos. That vitriol spewing seems to be restricted to the internet. All the real life fans he's met at conventions and such and other prominent Star Wars YouTubers are a lot more positive. They don't just like everything that Star Wars pumps out. No. But they do know how to constructively criticize without going all nuts and try to maintain a positive attitude.
The outrage with how BF2 was handled by EA is completely warranted though. Not the campaign. I mean all the usual EA bullshit.
Don't forget that EA rushed development on the game. And it isn't just micro-transactions that are the problem. They lock away content that is already in the base game behind what gamers call a "pay wall" and then there is the whole loot box system, which is just plain gambling and utterly sinister.
The loot box system should actually be illegal given how predatory it is. And I am absolutely not saying this as a gamer and member of some fandom. I'm saying this as an accounting professional and law student.
