If we have one character who can control minds, a persons 5 senses, and destroy their minds but hasn't been shown to affect a large group of people this should be considred more potent(at least on one person) than a character who has been shown to induce suicidal tendencies across a 100 people.
I agree to some extent, if the mind manipulation is similar in use, then you can use how many they can effect at one time...but that's a last resort, that shouldn't be the first thing you look at especially when one charcter can clearly affect the mind more than the other.
The problem is that, other mind hax that effect the mind more than simply mind control actually exists and isn't something that we can just gloss over.
I agree that most mind hax is simply mind control and isn't very different, but when we do have characters who can basically do anything they want to your mind and have much more uses than simple mind control we need to distinguish the two.
I'm not saying we should always make this the case...I'm saying that when there is a clear difference in how two characters can affect the mind, that's how we should judge the potency of mind manipulation. It still means that the characters who can control more people have higher range just not higher potency.
If what you believe is the way to judge the potency of mind Manipulation only applies to a few verses as opposed to the thousands that exist on this site then it's not a really good way to judge Mind Manipulation.
One clearly effecting one Mind more then the other does not mean it's better, because you're only affecting the entirety of a SINGLE person's mind, not thousands, only a single measly being, Character A is superior by affecting the minds of thousands as opposed to more effectively affecting the mind of a single.
I can go into battle with a machine gun, but against 10,000 pistols I'm still helpless.
There’s 6 votes for Joel and 0 for Yandere-Chan and I’d appreciate you just finishing off the match (could take way too long and too much bumping). Oh and of course if you don’t want to vote for Joel that’s fine but you probably will anyway
I was planning on making profiles for characters from the video game Vampire: The Masqurade - Bloodlines. The problem is that my computer is garbage and won't run the game properly. DO you think you could help me look for feats and stuff. From what I've seen from the game it seems like a resonably haxed 9-B verse. With Mind Control, Blood Manipulation, Summoning, and various other powers as well as resistance to those powers being pretty common. Most characters can survive getting shot up with SWAT level guns and a good majority of characters are pretty old and experienced. It's also one of the best PC RPGs out there with great characters, multiple factions, and a well handled morality system so it definatley seems like a game you'd be interested in. Care to help me out?

Sorry if I turn out as not too helpful
Thank you. Meanwhile, I'll try to get my copy to work.
Yeah 7-C Zoro doesn't have Busoshoku Haki to armour himself so Akame would beat him.
What? Garou had prior knowledge? Yeah that's not right or fair. Akame has lower AP and stamina meanwhile Garou has physical attack reflection along with higher AP, durability and precog. I wasn't aware of the prior knowledge part but that makes it unfair imo.
As you know we have given you allot of opportunity to represent yourself, but personally, while you aren't commuting any extreme violations or even becoming borderline, if your behavior is bothersome to staff or other members, especially intentionally, then it is my suggestion that you should take time away from the wiki to reflect, or have a private discussion with a staff member (or even someone that upset you) so you can work out any disagreements without getting banned. I know you're a hardworking member.
Oh, and if you didn't know chat has a PM feature if you wish to use it. We have to hold everyone to the same standard, even staff. If we started treating everyone similarly it would defeat the purpose of our rules.
Again, if you didn't catch that, you are not in trouble and I don't consider this a warning, just some advice. I feel like if you wanted to become a staff member, then following advice like this can help you accomplish that.
