...Not to necro a concluded thread, but I liked your idea! Sorry for just memeing at first. Just didn't want to make a really long answer when it was done and gone.
I'm of the same opinion as Azzy in that it would be great to have more threads of 40k without the same spams over and over, but I suppose not many are invested in spending the time when they have the go-to characters they know about.
So going through the trouble of finding an interesting character to match that is *not* spam and also a proper opponent was a great idea!
If more people do that it also brings new characters to the knowledge of others so they become the new spam so keep it up!

Zany told me:
"Lightning can range from 9-A to 8-C from what I've read from a few discussions regarding lightning speed on this site, so it can be a bit consistent from the ratings that were currently calculated above."
Seeing as that was from a member of the calc group, I take the statement seriously. Natural lightning is normally 8-C+, but it isn't presumptuous to say that it can be at a different AP under different conditions.

I feel like there is a difference between saying "Most Natural Lightning is 8-C+" and "All Natural Lightning is 8-C+".
And again, I just said cloud to ground. I was answering a question about lightning, not real lightning, therefore I answered that it can range in AP, based off of a statement a calc group member gave me.
The 5 billion joules requirement is only in regards to movement speed, not AP. The article linked to support this on the page doesn't mention "at least", but "as much as", as well.
We dont consider any lightning with an AP less than 8-C+ AP natural lightning nor do we treat it as lightning speed. It has to be that AP in order to be considered natural, and if its lightning from an artificial cloud we dont consider it lightning speed unless it displays 8-C+ AP
I had Eraserhead Henry for over a month, it was time for a switch. Had that and the poster for "Come and See," but I don't know if I'll keep this one as long. Regardless, I gotta go now if I'm to see half this list by summer's end. Have a good one!
