Librarians are huge, quasi-intelligent creatures so named by the Metro's citizens due to their habitat, the Moscow State Library. Only encountered in select sections of the games, they are some of the most powerful and intelligent creatures in Metro: 2033. They serve as the climax enemy for the Stalker in Metro: Last Light's DLC level, Kshatriya, and encounter Artyom in Metro: 2033. Fortunately, only a few of them are encountered, and only in the library.
