Summary
The Leviathans are a group of ancient sentient beings who designed the first Reaper Harbinger in order to help preserve life itself. Little did they know that the intelligence they created would turn against them as it perceived them as a threat. They hid for countless millennia hiding from the Reapers, until they were discovered by Commander Shepard. They promised Shepard their support in the fight against the Reapers.

Weaknesses: Kinetic barriers are activated based on the speed of an attack. A melee attack is not fast enough to set it off. In addition, the shielding afforded by kinetic barriers does not protect against extremes of temperature, toxins, or radiation.

Indoctrination: The Leviathan's have a different form of Indoctrination compared to the Reapers. When a spherical artifact is located by a being, they are able to take physical control of the enemy. The more of the spherical artifacts are placed, the stronger their control over the target. It is also possible for them to control Reaper ships directly, and slam them into the ground.
