Summary of the Plot

A group powerful beings called tenkaijin are holding a special tournament. The rules of the game--each tenkaijin selects a kid in junior high to be his champion and grants him a special power. The kids take each other on in heated battle, but if they hurt innocent bystanders, then they lose one of their natural-given abilities. Every time they win a battle, they gain a new ability. The ultimate winner of the tournament is granted any power of his choosing, and the tenkajin who he represents succeeds in becoming the next god. Kosuke Ueki has been chosen to fight in the tournament. His special power--the ability to turn garbage into trees.

Power of the Verse

An underrated Verse, the main character has relativistic+ feats and casual town busting attacks with his lowest celestial weapon (albeit combined with his special ability). Other chars like Robert Haydn have strongly limited reality warping abilities like the power to turn "Ideals into Reality". Furthermore the celestial beings (most likely the verse equivalent to angels) have all the ability to reach 10-Stars which makes it possible for them to be superfast, gain wings and fly, and a few other things.

God exists too but is a celestial beings like others with the difference that he has a special device that allows him to control all of reality and heaven itself. Later it is revealed (in Law of Ueki Plus) that the Ueki verse does not only consist out of Hell, Earth and Heaven but also a parrallel world which is the equivalent to all three worlds previously mentioned, the beings of that world range from Wall-level to Building-level and the big antagonist is around town+ level.
