~ VS Landia EX • Kirby's Return to Dream Land

Summary

Landia is the dragon deity that serves as a guardian of ancient treasures, such as the Master Crown. Since ancient times they have lived in Halcandra, a planet that in another reality that's not Kirby's.

Powers and Stats

Tier: 4-A | 2-C in base, 2-C EX form

Keys: In Kirby's Return to Dream Land & its remaster | Dream Kingdom's Landia, Post-Super Kirby Clash's Party Quests

Name: Landia

Origin: Kirby's Return to Dream Land

Gender: Male

Age: Unknown. Has been revered as a protector since ancient times

Classification: Dragon, 4-Headed Guardian Deity[1] (4つ首の守り神. Often mistranslated), Protector of ancient treasures

Powers and Abilities: Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Self-Sustenance (Type 1[2]), Flight (Flies with his wings in the air & outer space[2]), Fire Manipulation[3], Electricity Manipulation, Air Manipulation, Energy Projection, Can divide its body into four parts, Transformation (Into his EX form), Berserk Mode (Like most bosses Team Kirby fights, Landia can become furious in combat, increasing its power), Resistance to the Master Crown's Power of Domination (Is unfaltering to it[4]. It's unclear if this means Landia resists that power only from the crown, or resists the general powers & abilities it uses, or if simply the good Landia lacks darkness in his heart for the crown to amplify[5], also seen as it continuously sipping upon the soul of its wearer, until stealing their sense of self[6])

Attack Potency: Multi-Solar System level (Fought Kirby, Meta Knight, King Dedede & Bandana Waddle Dee at once, being the boss of the 7º level out of 8, after they defeated Grand Doomer and Metal General, and being a fake final boss himself. Magolor, who knew Kirby as a hero & fighter[7][8], was concerned about him being able to defeat Landia alone, suggesting Kirby to team up [with Meta Knight, King Dedede & Bandana Dee] for the battle and and use their combined powers to succeed[9]. This was after the defeat of Drawcia. While lacking the Master Crown, defeated a Lor Starcutter used by Phase 1 Magolor, apparently without his riders assisting, despite being proven to be able to[10]. Could trade blows with Kirby & co. and the Lor Starcutter, scaling to his own durability. Powered up[11] in its EX form, future games describe this form as him using his true power and having the power of his crown unleashed, but Landia is unable to control all its power[4]. The Landia shown in Team Kirby Clash and in the Dream Kingdom before Super Kirby Clash's Party Quests should be as powerful) | Low Multiverse level in base (Came once again to fight Team Kirby after they defeated King D-Mind in Story Quests, the same who one-shotted Dark Taranza and was tougher than the initial Parallel Landia, and the recommended level Team Kirby needs to face this Landia is higher the one for that King D-Mind), Low Multiverse level in EX form (Fought Super Team Kirby after they defeated Aeon Hero in his base and Light forms for the first time, and has the same recommended level to be fought)

Speed: Massively FTL+ (Kept up with Kirby, Meta Knight, King Dedede and Bandana Waddle Dee in combat, who could tag and dodge Landia while flying, even as he's only trying to ram into them at high speed with his body united or divided. Flew across Another Dimension's Road while repeatedly passing by stars & nebulae, keeping up with foes, tagging with projectiles & tackles foes, and maneuvering to dodge their attacks & the environment, that being; portions of space moving around, Dimension Meteors, Reevas, Reebers, Larvas, Rubas, the Lor Starcutter[2], and partially Phase 1 Magolor, flying so fast that they made the stars blur behind them[12]. Scooped up Kirby and co. before parts of Another Dimension could collapse while flying at speeds comparable to the Lor Starcutter in the time Kirby fainted, woke up & they all escaped[13]. Shown flying alongside the Lor across space in the credits, when they flew away together before the game ended[3])

Lifting Strength: Unknown | Unknown

Striking Strength: Multi-Solar System level | Low Multiverse level in base, Low Multiverse level in EX form

Durability: Multi-Solar System level (Same reasoning as his AP. Survived being taken out of battle by being blasted by a serious Phase 1 Magolor[10], presumably having been knocked out during Kirby & co. battle against Magolor EX and partially in their battle against Magolor Soul, meeting with the Lor at some point. While one-shotted by that, it was also after having already been defeated by Kirby & co., flying across Another Dimension's Road, and fighting the Lor Starcutter) | Low Multiverse level in base, Low Multiverse level in EX form

Stamina: Very high

Range: Standard Melee Range physically, Tens of Meters with projectiles

Standard Equipment: The Master Crown

Intelligence: Unknown, vast combat skills. Can fight many foes at once, be it Kirby, Meta Knight, King Dedede & Bandana Waddle Dee. Has lived since ancient times as a guardian of legendary items and protector of the planet Halcandra. Landa has a human-like awareness of the situations around him despite being yet to show the ability to talk. He defeated "Lor EX & Magolor", dealing with some of their complex attack patterns

Weaknesses: He doesn't seem to be able to talk, communicating with body language or assuming context.
