Kumokawa Maria is the little sister of Kumokawa Seria, friend of Tsuchimikado Maika and a maid-in-training at Academy City's Ryouran Maid School. She arrived at Baggage City to find her missing teacher, Kihara Kagun, but she got caught up by the fight between Gremlin and Academy City's forces. To survive she joined forces with some of the Natural Selector's contestants. Despite not having a particularly strong esper power, Maria's martial arts and combat skills allowed her to fight off Marian the dvergr and defeat Kihara Enshuu in battle.
