Summary

Josuke Higashikata (東方 仗助 Higashikata Jōsuke), nicknamed JoJo, is the illegitimate son of Joseph Joestar and the main protagonist of Part IV: Diamond is Unbreakable.

Born and raised in Morioh without meeting his father for much of his life. As a child, when he was only four, Josuke developed his Stand, Crazy Diamond, as a result of DIO's usage of the Stand Arrow. 12 years later, he is tracked down by Jotaro Kujo, who informs him of his heritage and warns him of the dangers lurking in Morioh.

Powers and Stats

Tier: 9-B, at least 9-A with Crazy Diamond, High 8-C while enraged | 9-B, at least 8-C with Crazy Diamond, High 8-C when enraged

Keys: Early Part 4 | Late Part 4

Name: Josuke Higashikata, "JoJo"

Origin: JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable

Age: 16 (Diamond is Unbreakable), 23 (Rohan at the Louvre)

Gender: Male

Classification: Human, Stand User

Powers and Abilities:

Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Afterimage Creation (Through speed, its attacks leave numerous afterimages, such as punches and kicks), Flight (Within its effective range), Enhanced Senses, Extrasensory Perception (Much like its user), Statistics Amplification & Reduction (As a Short-Distance Stand, its capabilities are inversely proportional to the range it operates within[1]), Restoration (Crazy Diamond can revert objects to a prior state with a fair degree of control, allowing Josuke to heal others, reduce matter to its components, and fuse objects together), Limited Homing Attack (If Josuke puts his blood on his opponent and a projectile, then he can cause the projectile to home in on his opponent), Incorporeality (Stands are the incorporeal manifestations of one's vital energy, and can only be harmed by other Stands), Non-Physical Interaction (Stands can interact with ghosts and other Stands), Selective Intangibility, Invisibility (Stands can only be seen by other Stands and Stand Users), Aura

Attack Potency: Wall level (Elbowed Koichi so hard he flew through the air and burst through a metal door), at least Small Building level with Crazy Diamond (Significantly above Echoes Act 2), Large Building level+ while enraged (Power increases with anger. While he failed to visibly harm him, he managed to break through a casual Star Platinum's guard with several blows and surprised Jotaro with his power). | Wall level, at least Building level with Crazy Diamond (Stated to have gotten much stronger as Part 4 progressed. Comparable with Red Hot Chili Pepper and forced him to drain Morioh of power in order to surpass Crazy Diamond. Managed to briefly contend with an amplified Akira Otoishi before being overpowered. While at his limit, he dealt critical damage to Killer Queen to a less but comparable degree as Star Platinum), Large Building level+ when enraged, can ignore conventional durability by fusing people with other objects.

Speed: Peak Human with at most Relativistic+ reactions (Could manifest Crazy Diamond before a bullet hit him at point-blank range. Could react to Red Hot Chili Pepper emerging from a wire at lightspeed though is demonstrably slower than him. Can consistently react to Bad Company). At least Relativistic+, possibly Speed of Light with Crazy Diamond (Could throw a punch and strike Red Hot Chili Pepper before he exited a wire despite moving at the speed of light. While slower, it could contend with an empowered Red Hot Chili Pepper), up to FTL (Crazy Diamond's speed is directly proportional to the distance he is from Josuke, with it increasing or decreasing relative to how far away it is from his user, being able to surpass Red Hot Chili Pepper in speed while at point-blank range), far higher while enraged (Continuously out-sped Killer Queen, who was slower than, but comparable to his base state. Jotaro made note of his speed while he was furious). Varies, up to FTL with Restoration (Could restore Okuyasu's body after it was taken away at light-speed, restoring him back before Red Hot Chili Pepper could reach his destination, despite moving at the speed of light).

Lifting Strength: Unknown

Striking Strength: Wall level, At least Small Building level with Crazy Diamond (Scaling from his Attack Potency. Crazy Diamond's main method of attack is to use raw strength), Large Building level+ while enraged | Wall level, at least Building level with Crazy Diamond, Large Building level+ while enraged

Durability: Wall level, possibly higher (Took a hit equal to that of his Stand's own attack). At least Small Building level, Large Building level+ while enraged. | At least Building level with Crazy Diamond (Forced Red Hot Chili Pepper to drain Morioh of power to defeat Crazy Diamond and took multiple blows from an empowered Red Hot Chili Pepper and was fine minutes later), Large Building level+ when enraged.

Stamina: Superhuman. Josuke can take severe punishment and keep on fighting, withstanding being hit by several of Killer Queen's explosions and pushing onwards, despite having wood fragments jammed into his stomach and leg, making it hard for him to walk

Range: Standard Melee Range physically. Crazy Diamond has an effective manifestation range of 1-2 Meters[2], Standard Melee Range physically, upon utilizing Restoration the objects in question will take the shortest path to become full again (Though it doesn't apply to things that have been erased or vanished from the world[3]), at least Tens of Meters with projectiles (Can flick things like bullets 50-70m before outside conditions affect accuracy[4]; hit Bug-Eaten from 60 meters away[5])

Standard Equipment: Crazy Diamond

Intelligence: At least Above Average. Josuke's years of experience with his Stand have left him a skilled and inventive fighter, much like his father. He uses Crazy Diamond's ability to restore objects creatively, to form containers to trap opponents, create hazards by breaking down various materials, dodge attacks by restoring debris stuck in his wounds to its rightful place, pulling him along, and to fire perfectly accurate projectiles by restoring them to a bit of the original structure stuck on his target

Weaknesses: Any damage dealt to Crazy Diamond will be reflected onto Josuke, and Josuke cannot use its abilities to heal his own wounds, bring back the dead, cure diseases, or restore anything erased by abilities like the Hand. If he feels that his hair has been insulted, Josuke will fly into a blind rage

Notable Attacks/Techniques:

  • Crazy Diamond: Josuke's Stand, a close-range power Stand possessing incredible strength and speed, it is a formidable opponent both in close quarters and from a distance whilst using small objects, thanks to its extreme precision.
    • Restoration: Crazy Diamond can, with a touch, "restore" any object, returning it to a previous state. While this has obvious applications in healing, Josuke is creative with its usage and can utilize it in a number of ways. He can break objects and materials down into their raw components, doing so to reduce asphalt to coal tar, and can fuse beings with other objects by destroying these objects around them before restoring them. With this ability, Josuke can even circumvent his issues with range, firing projectiles that home in on targets covered with a piece of the original substance. However, Crazy Diamond cannot restore Josuke's own wounds, heal diseases, retrieve things erased from space, or bring the dead back to life.
