Hippocamp Baian is a character of the Saint Seiya franchise, first introduced in the classic Saint Seiya Manga/Anime. He is one of the Seven Marine Generals, and the Guardian of the Pillar of the North Pacific Ocean. Baian has spent his whole life as a Marine facing only weaker opponents and viewing each and every one of them as completely beneath him, which led to him becoming extremely arrogant regarding his power.

- God's Breath: Baian manipulates the air on his surroundings and increases it's power through his Cosmos, while simultaneously projecting many waves of energy that paralyze his foe, leaving him an easy target. Then, Baian releases all of the accumulated, Cosmos-empowered air in the form of an extremely potent air pressure that can damage even Gold Saints.
- Rising Billows: Burning his Cosmos, Baian creates a powerful current of both air and water that when combined and enriched with his powers assume to form of a gigantic high-pressure whirlpool. It dashes towards the opponent at faster than light speeds, hitting him head on and sending the opponent flying many kilometers into the air. During his fight with Seiya, this attack not only send the Saint to the limits of the World of the Oceans (a Pocket-Universe created by Poseidon, where the skies are the Bottom of the Ocean), but broke through between the barrier that separated realities and send Seiya up through the Pacific Ocean and into the Earth's surface.
