Summary
Hector is Eliwood's childhood friend and the deuteragonist of Fire Emblem: The Burning Blade. A somewhat unruly noble who prefers to get the point with the help of an axe, he is nevertheless crucial to Eliwood's campaign to save his father and later the world.

Intelligence: Hector is headstrong and boisterous bruiser who prefers frontline combat to tactics and number crunching. Preferring an axe to a sword, he is said to lack technique at the start of the story, but is nevertheless capable of carving his way through scores of enemies and is stated to be naturally talented in the art of war. By the end of the game, his technique and power have grown to the point that he was deemed to be worthy of wielding Armads, a weapon that can only be wielded by those with absolute mastery of axes.
Weaknesses: As a wielder of Armads, he is cursed to die in battle at some point.
