Summary
The Riordanverse is a literary urban fantasy setting centered around the premise that many ancient myths are true and that divine pantheons, hidden magically from view, influence the modern world. The series began with the Camp Half-Blood Chronicles, focusing on Greco-Roman mythology, and later expanded into The Kane Chronicles, revolving around Egyptian mythology, and Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard, covering Norse mythology.
Power of the Verse
The Riordanverse is a formidable verse with Major Olympian Gods exhibiting immense power, such as throwing mountains and islands, drowning the planet, and engaging in battles that vaporize seas. They possess divine control over their domains and wield weapons of incredible might. Alongside their standard abilities, they possess superhuman characteristics, immortality, shape-shifting, mind manipulation, and more. Titans and Giants are comparable in power, with Typhon being listed as planet-level and Kronos surpassing that level. Primordial gods, known as Protogenos, exceed planet-level due to their immense power. Demigods, offspring of gods and mortals, have shown impressive feats, ranging from destroying glaciers to fighting formidable beings. Egyptian gods possess tier 6 feats, with the strongest gods like Set capable of creating deserts and planetary storms. Norse gods are also powerful, with Thor and Odin exhibiting significant abilities. Demigods from various pantheons display varying power levels, with Norse demigods reaching at least large building level.
