Summary
The Great Impact theory, sometimes called the Theia Impact is the most widely accepted scientific theory to explain the formation of the Moon, suggesting that it formed from the debris of a collision between the young Earth and a Mars-sized protoplanet, approximately 4.5 billion years ago, in the Hadean eon (between 20 and 100 million years after the formation of the Solar System).

Powers and abilities: It was a possible event, and if occurred, it explains the origin of the moon. It would have been so massive that it's debris got flung in a direction away from the earth, which eventually formed the moon. It also likely damaged most of the hemisphere which it impact and destroyed the small planet that collided with earth.
Attack Potency: Small Planet level (Powerful enough to launch debris outwards, which then formed the moon), possibly higher (Might have completely destroyed an entire hemisphere and the planet which collided with Earth)
