Izanagi-no-Okami
Thou art I, and I am thou... From the sea of thy soul, I come... From the very moment of my emergence, I have been a guiding light shed to illuminate thy path... I am the original god... Izanagi-no-Okami.

Summary

Yu Narukami is the protagonist of Persona 4. A transfer student from the city, he moves to Inaba to live with his uncle and cousin for a year due to his parents working abroad. While initially attempting to live a normal school life, he is caught in a certain rumor known as the 'Midnight Channel', in which if you stare into a TV at night you will see your soulmate. This leads to him discovering that he has the power to enter into TVs, an entirely alternate dimension where shadows lurk and people's darkest selves are exposed. As he learns this, strange murders on foggy nights start to happen regularly in Inaba. Yu learns that there is a connection between TV world and the murders. After awakening the powers of the Persona, he becomes the leader of the newfound Investigation Team in order to stop the serial murders that take place in Inaba and find the truth behind the TV world.
