Grima Echoes
A Fell Dragon created from the power of divinity and dark intentions. It exists in a sealed room within the deepest reaches of Thabes Labyrinth - a place fittingly guarded by countless monsters including the wicked Fafnir. Even when it seemingly disappears upon defeat, a great sense of doom remain ever present.

Grima1
I am the wings of despair. I am the breath of ruin. I am the fell dragon, Grima...
~ Grima introducing himself to Validar
So ends the human race. The future is built upon the past...but your kind shall never see it! Your mother and father...are dead, tiny one.
~ Grima to Lucina

Robin (Fallen Heroes) Heroes
You are a curious one... You willingly come to chat with me? The fell dragon? Alone? You know full well how I detest humans. They have no qualms asking for divine assistance when it meets their fickle needs... But how quick they are to shun their benefactors once they get what they desire. They become arrogant and make the same mistakes repeatedly, incapable of learning the folly of their ways. They claim their actions are for the good of others, but that's merely a show of self-indulgence. Humans are selfish. And the ugliness of mankind has turned me repulsive. It's the world that wants me to be evil. And yet you claim to need me here? Enough of your lies, worm. How dare you look at me with such a gaze. Do not dare pity me!
~ Grima-possessed Future Robin in Fire Emblem Heroes

Robin (Fell Vessel) Heroes
Come to butter me up some more? How very irksome. I've nothing to chat about with a human. Humans spout their ideals, but it's nothing but lip service. Let's all join together and hold hands, you'll say. We can overcome our differences despite being different species, despite our differing core ideologies. The truth is what you see daily in this place. Day after day, night after night, all you have is never-ending war. One person's satisfaction means another must suffer. That is the truth of all worlds. But my power of destruction is the one true equalizer. If you think there's someone out there capable of leading the world with such high-minded ideas of love and bonds... I'd love to meet them. Hmph. After all that, you still talk your big talk? Very well. I'll watch over you... Right until your bitter end.
~ Grima-possessed Future Robin in Fire Emblem Heroes

Summary

Grima is an antagonistic dragon, who, long before Chrom's era, but after Marth's, sought to conquer the continent of Archanea/Ylisse. He is reviled in most of the world as the "Fell Dragon", but the Grimleal in Plegia worship Grima as their god. Grima was created by Forneus from the blood of a Divine Dragon. He started off small until Forneus gave him his own blood, which increased his size. Overtime, Forneus started to hear Grima's voice in his head, until he was driven to insanity.

He has a strong loathing of humans and enjoys their suffering, which is expanded in Heroes when the Grima-possessed Hierophant states he hates humanity for their hypocrisy, explaining how humans beg the gods for help but shun them upon the request being answered. Also claiming humanity is arrogant and unable to learn from their mistakes, while any form of goodwill is merely for self-indulgence and selfishness, he says that his own repulsive form is a reflection on humanity's own ugliness, where humanity itself desires Grima to be evil.

Due to his actions, he is the main antagonist in Fire Emblem: Awakening, and a secret boss in Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia. During the ending of Awakening, he is either defeated by Robin (Killing him for good) or by Chrom (Sealed for another millennium)

Nearly one-shot Chrom, who is equal to Naga) | At least Large Island level, possibly Multi-Solar System level (Should be just as strong as his Awakening self. Killed the Naga of his timeline)

Standard Equipment: None notable | Should likely have the same equipment as Robin | Same as before

Intelligence: Gifted (Grima is a very deceiving, strategic being that manipulates multiple individuals to achieve what he desires. He manipulates Chrom and the Robin, disguised as Validar's hierophant to invade the continent of Valm, so that they stop by force Walhart, who had conquered the whole continent to have an army strong enough to challenge the Grimleal. In the future, he also shows to be the true mastermind behind of all of Validar's schemes, even realize Lucina went traveling through time to prevent the present Grima's resurrection which is why he follows her to prevent her from interfering alter history. He can be very manipulative of others, from steering history to his favor and exploiting Robin's children's feelings through his theft of their parent's body. Grima is shown to be a sadist that relishes in making his opponents suffer as much as he can, like when he cruelly mocked Lucina over her mother and father's deaths or during the final confrontation he offers Robin that he will spare his friends if he/she "becomes one with him", only to admit cheerfully afterwards that he lied, regardless of the choice made, much to Robin's angers. He in fact tricks Robin multiple times, who is also a great tactician in his/her own right, like when he predicted that Chrom, advised by Robin would bring The Binding Shield to Plegia to keep it safe, showing a very cunning side while also being able to directly control her/him to some degree)

Weaknesses: Weak to Dragon Slaying swords like the Falchion to some degree. Can Time Travel but it cost him much of his strength to do so. Can be kill permanently if he kills himself or is killed by an aspect of himself at the cost of their own life since they are connected. Naga had stated that he has a weakness on the nape of his neck. In Future Past, it is shown that if severely weakened, Robin can interfere with Grima's actions to the point of preventing him from moving.

Notable Attacks/Techniques:

  • Hawkeye: It allows any attack initiated by the user to successfully strike its target regardless of the user's hit rate and the target's Avoid.
  • Pavise+: When activated, this combat skill shields the user from the full force of attacks from weapon types which are able to attack physically, including swords, lances, axes, Beaststones, Blighted Claws and Blighted Talons. This has a 100% activation rate.
  • Aegis+: It is a direct counterpart to Pavise, shielding the user from the full force of attacks from weapon types which are able to attack indirectly, including bows, magic, dragonstones. This has a 100% activation rate.
  • Dragonskin: Halves damage taken. In Awakening, this ability also come with the effect of nullifying Counter and Lethality.
  • Immune Status: Immunity to negative status effects (poison, paralysis, etc.), and stat reductions.
  • Rightful God: Primarly exclusive to the Fell Dragon Grima, it is an enhanced version of Rightful King which gives an even greater increase to the unit's skills activation rate.
  • Ignis: Adds half Mag or Str stat to the other value when attacking.
  • Anathema: In Echoes: Shadows of Valentia, this is a personal skill associated with the Creation where it reduces the avoiding abilities of all enemies within a radius of the user.
  • Expiration: Expiration is a Breath weapon in Fire Emblem Awakening, and a Terror weapon in Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia. It can manifests as either Grima's human body summon a trail of purple spikes out of the ground to impale his foe, while the other has Grima release a large ball of fell breath from his dragon head. As shown in Shadows of Valentia, this attack negates the enemy’s defenses.
  • Dark Spikes: When activated, the Creation summons purple spikes from the ground to impale all opposing units within a certain range at once.

Note: As in Awakening/Future Past, Grima is technically Robin and is utilizing the future version of their body as his main host so he should likely be capable of using the same skills and abilities as them such as Magic via Tomes, Accelerated Development, Information Analysis/Analytical Prediction, etc...
