Yumichika Ayasegawa (綾あや瀬せ川がわ 弓ゆみ親ちか, Ayasegawa Yumichika) is the 3rd Seat officer and former 5th Seat officer in the 11th Division of the Gotei 13, under Captain Kenpachi Zaraki.

Intelligence: As a member of the 11th Division, Yumichika is skilled in melee combat, being able to keep up with foes as powerful and skilled as Barragan's Fraccion while utilizing his false Shikai. In addition, despite his foppish exterior, he is perceptive enough to correctly deduce that Giselle Gewelle was intentionally trying to provoke him and Ikkaku Madarame into attacking her. This was done as a means of activating The Zombie and the mechanics behind Bambietta Batteries To Explode.

Weaknesses: Yumichika refuses to use his true Shikai in the presence of the Gotei 13 members due to the nature of its powers. He is also extremely vain and takes slights to his appearance personally.

Notable Attacks and Techniques:

Flash Step (瞬しゅん歩ぽ, Shunpo): A Shinigami movement technique which allows the user to move faster than the eye can follow. As speed is the main factor of the technique, the method is best characterized by how fast one can get from point A to point B in the least number of steps. Fuji Kujaku Ruri'iro Kujaku Hadō #57: Daichi Ten'yō 1/3 Shikai (始し解かい): Fuji Kujaku (藤ふじ孔く雀じゃく): Yumichika's Zanpakutō splits into four Sickle like blades connected to the hilt. Ruri'iro Kujaku (瑠る璃り色いろ孔く雀じゃく): His Zanpakutō's True Form, Yumichika can use the Vines produced to restrict a target; siphoning their Reiatsu in the process until death. Yumichika can also heal himself by eating the reiatsu-filled flowers budding on the Vines as a result of this process. Kidō: Spells cast by Shinigami with strong enough Reiryoku and Reiryoku control. Kidō is divided into mainly three categories: Hadō for attacks, Bakudō for battle support, and Kaidō for healing. The spells rank from 1 to 99, with 1 being the weaker and easier ones to cast and 99 being the most powerful and challenging to release. Skilled users can cast Kidō without the need of an incantation; however, doing so will reduce the Kidō's effectiveness to less than a third of its full potential. Hadō #57: Daichi Ten'yō (破は道どうの伍ご拾じゅう漆なな「大だい地ち転てん用よう」, Hadō no Gojūnana: Daichi Ten'yō): The caster levitates nearby objects that they can then launch towards their target.
