Capricorn Izo is the Capricorn Gold Saint of the 18th Century as seem in the manga Saint Seiya Next Dimension. A master a Kenjutsu and a follower of Bushido, Izo is a stern and stoic man, who always puts the needs of his Goddess and his brothers-in-arms before his, and shows no mercy whatsoever when facing evil, swiftly slaughtering those who stand in his way in the name of justice. Because of his personality, he is known as "Izo, The Slayer of Demons".

- Sacred Sword Excalibur (聖剣エクスカリバー, Seiken Ekusukaribā): In the anime, it was said that in mythical times, Athena granted the legendary sword Excalibur only to a Saint who proved his undying loyalty towards the goddess. This is the greatest technique of Capricorn, where through his Cosmos, the Saint's arm assumes the properties of the legendary blade, being capable of slicing through almost anything, including Gold Cloths. Due to Izo's Kenjutsu training and Bushido philosophy, his Excalibur manifests as a Nihontō, rather than an European Longsword. Excalibur has also shown to negate regeneration, as Shiryu was able to use it to stop the regeneration of the Dragon Faceless in Episode G Assassin.
