Biography
Gene Khan, formerly named Temugin, is the main antagonist of the animated series Iron Man: Armored Adventures. He is the show's version of The Mandarin (despite being incredibly different from his comic book counterpart). He is voiced by Vincent Tong.
Gene Khan is the latest in the line of Khan's direct descendants. When he was a child, his mother married Xin Zhang, a Chinese criminal. After she disappeared, Zhang took the one Makluan Ring she had, became the Mandarin, and established the Tong criminal empire, with Gene growing up as his step-son. Gene, feeling that his birthright had been denied, imprisoned Zhang at 16 and took over his role as the Mandarin, using the Tong's influence to search for the remaining Makluan Rings, during which he came into conflict with Iron Man.
