Grif Background
It's one of life's great mysteries, isn't it? Why are we here? I mean, are we the product of some... cosmic coincidence? Or is there really a God, watching everything, you know, with a plan for us and stuff. I don't know man, but it keeps me up at night.
~ Dexter Grif

Captain Dexter Grif is a main character in Red vs. Blue. He is voiced by Geoff Ramsey, co-creator of the series. Grif is the slacker of the Red Team and a wise-cracking loud-mouth to boot. He also spends much time with his teammate Simmons, with whom he has a complex friendship with and competes with for the role of the deuteragonist of Red Team's half in the series.
