Summary of the plot
Dongtae is rock bottom in everything. Looks, grades, life, everything. But all that might change. If you could change your life by playing a game, would you?
The story of Dice focuses on Dongtae and the existence of things called Dice. They have the unnatural ability to enhance various traits of a person depending on what they roll. Whether it be looks, intelligence, your right arm, strength, or agility, all of them can be enhanced in various ways. The story of Dice however isn't just something of self-fulfillment but explores about the effects of such items in the real world.
Power of the Verse
The majority of the verse is pretty weak even in comparison with usual low-superpower verses. DICE-verse has a lot of low-superhuman characters in which some few can crack a concrete ground and break an average human neck easily with one hand.
It has six supernatural abilities which are different than "enhanced stats". They are: Time Stop, Teleportation, Clairvoyance, Levitation, Cloaking (Invisibility) and Psychokinesis. Due to the verse's quirks it is necessary to use previously stored dices as fuel for this supernatural abilities, therefore this six powers have several limitations. A small side-effect if a DICE user skills up "Others" in their own skill-tree is that they can gain better luck, therefore strongly-limited-probability manipulation is also a power, albeit passively. There is also the natural passive ability of how hitting someone, even when they don't have Dice, could lower their stats and earn the user Dice.
With the newest development people showed special unique skills (resulting out of one of the six superpowers) that allow gravity manipulation, holographic clones, and the ability to stop time for someone. X himself is unknown but should be the strongest, being the creator of Dice and being able to easily beat up someone who had all six of the powers above. With recent chapters it might show his true potential.
