Summary

The Citadel Guardians are a mysterious group or race of beings that exist to capture "Cosmic Criminals". They serve as wardens of the "Crystal Citadel", a prison in an unknown dimension that host the aforementioned Cosmic Criminals. They appear to be silent, emotionless entities who lack emotive faces and never speak a word, making their intelligence or even sentience questionable. They appeared in the two parter Wake up! and Escape from the Citadel, in which they capture The Lich for slaying Prismo, a cosmic entity.
