Summary

Ao (青, Ao) was a former Anbu of Kirigakure's Hunter-nin Corps, that served as the Fifth Mizukage's right hand. He was also the captain of the allied shinobi forces' sensory division.

After the fourth great ninja war he was presumed to have been killed by the Juubi's blast. In reality he survived, but had to be mechanically altered by Katasuke to keep him alive, after which he joined Kara.

Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Acrobatics, Martial Arts, Chakra Manipulation, Afterimage Creation, Stealth Mastery, and Speed Enhancement (The Substitution Jutsu allows its user to instantly replace themselves with a nearby object such as a tree log, plant, person, or clone at the exact moment they are attacked. The Jutsu works even if the user is physically restrained or observed by characters as observant as Sharingan or Sage Mode users. This creates the optical illusion of the user being hit, which confuses the opponent and gives them an opening to flee or counterattack), Statistics Amplification (Shinobi are capable of enhancing their physical capabilities with the use of chakra. Notable Attacks/Techniques:

• Byakugan (White Eye): Byakugan is the kekkei genkai that originated from the Ōtsutsuki Clan, and later inherited by their distant descendants, the Hyūga Clan. It is regarded as one of the "Three Great Dōjutsu", the others being the Sharingan and the Rinnegan. Ao have the Byakugan in his right eye, granting him a telescopic vision, x-ray vision, a near 360° field of visual perception (with the presumed exception of a small blind spot at the upper thoracic vertebrae), and the ability to see the chakra pathway system and its tenketsu.
• Sensing Technique: The Sensing Technique allows sensor type shinobi to mould chakra and change it to the sensor type. This enables them to detect and track down targets through their chakra signatures. The range of this technique varies between sensors. With his sensory skills, he could even pick out the reincarnated shinobi out of thousands of White Zetsu clones, a feat that his counterparts could not perform
• Water Release: Water Colliding Wave: Ao creates a whirlpool of water with which he attacks his enemy.
• Barrier Talisman: Armoured Eye: This technique was created by the hunter-nin of Kirigakure and according to Ao, they are the only ones who know how to cancel the technique. When a specific part of the user's body is targeted, this technique is automatically activated. The talismans move to cover the specific body part and form a barrier to protect it. Ao wears these talismans as earrings as a precaution should anyone try and target the Byakugan in his right eye socket.
• Sensing Water Sphere: By forming a sphere of water, the user can use it to monitor chakra signatures in a given area. Individuals or groups are represented as varying-sized bubbles within the sphere, with larger chakra signatures having larger bubbles. The sphere itself is not a great form of detection and needs on-the-field reports to locate targets that should be kept track of. When linked with a Sensing Barrier, this imprecision is mitigated somewhat.
• Jutsu Absorption Arm: Ao uses the jutsu absorption arm to create ninjutsu absorbing orbs at his palm.
• Mirror Drone: Four disk shaped drones that Ao remotely controls to fire at his opponent from the sky.
