He uses these two traits to form countermeasures against his opponent in the midst of combat, such as, knocking out his opponent by forcing their armor to resonate until their body could not stand it, getting out of his opponent's reach by fighting them while hanging upside down from a chandelier, and even flipping his opponents with his ki alone.

- Forced Into an Agonizing Position, Destruction Hell: Akisame conducts a series of joint locks and throws that forces his opponent into a position where it is impossible for them to move while being left in excruciating pain. According to Kenichi, death would be more merciful than to be caught in this hold.
- Koetsuji Echo Combo: Akisame strikes the opponent's head with a vibrating right-hand strike before doing the same with the left, paralyzing foes with the force dealt to the temples and causing armor to resonate until the wearer loses consciousness.
- Koetsuji Infinite Regenerating Circle: Akisame's instinctive defense against being grappled himself, he reflexively throws those who grab him by the wrist in such a way that by the time they let go, they would have been thrown several times over.
